Hi, Thanks for the video! great content! You mentioned about the destination device was being ad joined. What steps do i need to take to make my VM AD joined. My understanding is that using the AD login feature when creating a VM meant that there was no need for the VM to be AD joined (as in i thought that was part of the process). I am assuming I am wrong as I cant seem to get it to work?
If i don't have source vm prepared, Can I use standard RDP method from Azure portal to connect to Azure AD only registered devices via standard 3389 port over public IP Address or I need source VM to be prepared first?
Hi ! Authentication & connectivity are two different things, thought they go hand in hand 😀 To use AD Authentication there are requirements for the source (described in the video) and the destination. Not entirely sure I understand your question
@@PatriksTechLightning I got your answer though, thanks for your input. FYI - The question was if Azure VM's are only Azure AD joined, how to RDP those VMs
What password should you use during connection? From your microsoft account?
Is there any way doing this with MFA ?

Hello,
Have you tried to login with MFA enabled user to this Azure Virtual Machine?
Hi, Did you get a solution or if MFA is enabled we cannot authenticate with password in VM?
