It's so exciting to see charity shops fully open again, and I can't wait to share this shopping adventure with you. In this video, I stumbled upon a massive charity shop with a wide range of furniture and plenty of trendy brands at budget-friendly prices.
I love this kind of slow living where I can take the time to visit the charity shops and go thrifting; I hope you like it too!

I actually find using proper money for budgeting works for me. I expect the picture is a print. My sister is an artist and she has her art work printed sometimes. You got some good bit's. xx
There’s so many quality items in charity shops at the moment . I’ve bought some lovely brand new clothes for myself and my husband . It also depends where you live as well. All good if your on a budget.
The thing without a spout is just a Chinese tea mug with a lid to keep it warm!

Love watching thrift videos for a few reasons. One of those is not to tempt me to buy stuff. Sounds weird but when I watch hauls from shops I can go to or buy on Amazon it's sometimes hard not to when you don't need it. Whereas charity shop finds are unique so therefore I'm less likely to find or but things I don't need.

Always carry Cash
I’m in retail and more and more people are carrying cash again, Martin Lewis is always advising cash as a more controlled way to budget. I’ve never stopped especially after an enormous bank card fraud…….. 😢xxx

Hi Lara . You found some lovely things in the charity shops. Such a shame about the clothes in the first one . I’m trying to get into using cash more . I find shopping in markets , charity shops and car boots are mostly cash only. Also use it or looses it . At first it was hard to remember but it’s easy to remember now that these places are cash only. I think it helps with seeing how much I want to spend . Would the charity shop not save the items?
I loved the serving dish and the jug . The cushion is perfect too .

My son and his girlfriend are the same, never carrying cash, but i still can't understand people not having cash.
How many times are card machines not working .

@@LaraJoannaJarvis I bought a Zara winter Jacket and a crotchet bag,oh and a Zara dress,but no homeware which I used to always find,I’m a fan of Vinted so shame they aren’t a charity! I went to Brighton yesterday all day in the hot weather!!
I have not figured out yet if it is better to have (1) the store automatically mark up the price of an item to include the credit card transaction fee and then give me a discount if I pay for cash or (2) to say it's a cash business or (3) this is the cash price but if you want to use a card there's a 3% search charge. Retailers are struggling right now so they certainly don't want to turn away business.
You used to be charged in some places for using card but a law was introduced that it’s now illegal to do so. 😊
I think it might be different for the UK :) It was because their machine had broken, not that they didn't want to incur the charges
The shop would have kept the items while you got some cash x

I am good with money but if I want to be better I always take cash leave the card at home, otherwise it could be a problem lol I am surprised you don't use cash Lara .I have got some really good buys lately from charity shops .
