Welcome to the same as cosco typical Walmart shopping we have in america. The options and selection is massive.
You came to our Costco. Recognise that wind turbine anywhere 😂 we love the skippy peanut butter and the Costa instant coffee is very good value. Also the toilet roll, black backs and Kirkland washing pods are good, smells fine and they do the job. Also if you like bottled water that is very good value 40 for under a 5er.
Hey folks just a reminder that Costco's Kirkland brand coffee is actually STARBUCKS...both are in Seattle,Washington & almost all of Kirkland coffee bags & wholebean says down at the bottom Starbucks... I almost never go to any Starbucks here in Rochester,NY...we are one of the few cities in Upstate NY that have a Costco...most congested urban cities protest Costco stores....the auto /delivery truck traffic beomes unbearable in already over used roads,the one in Buffalo,NY has faced an uphill legal battle so no warehouse yet...Canadians shop here as well but what a great value on Starbucks!!!

When was this filmed? Diesel near me is 138.9 per litre in Belfast. I think Petrol is the same price.

One of the big loss leaders that Costco sells at every store in the US is a whole cooked & hot roast/rotisserie chicken for US$4.99. It's always at the back of the store adjacent to the meat section. You were right next to that area I believe at 10:34; I'm curious if they're offering it in your UK store?

In Northern Ireland we have Makro but it’s just not as big. I remember going as a teenager and thinking things where a bargain..until you added VAT on 😂
They opened one on Maui and all the local shops had to drop their prices.
How do you get the membership? Because on the website it says ‘do you qualify’? And lists the jobs you must be in to qualify, I’m a care assistant which doesn’t come under any of the options….. so how are people getting these memberships?! 🤦🏻♀️😂 x
Most people on TH-cam are considered self employed or business owners which in itself is qualifying, I unfortunately don't qualify either. I live vicariuosly through TH-cam 😁
You should be eligible as you are an employee of a health service
Just register a company for £11 - get your membership then dissolve the company.
This is a lot simpler than it sounds - you can register a business online in 2mins.

I shop at the first Costco ever opened (Store #1). It’s interesting how they sell different foods based on consumer trends at each location. There are three Costco‘s within 10 miles from my home and some foods that sell at one might not sell at another. Does your Costco not sell cloths? I didn’t see any in your video.

Chicken breasts, tins of tuna, fillet steak is delicious. Cleaning things. Sanitary products. Cans of pop. Cheese. Bacon. We get the frozen salon. Not sure if it’s cheaper, they are large portions. Toilet room, kitchen roll. Dishwasher tablets 👍🏻
That is a great list! I think if we could store things it’s great to buy in bulk if cheaper, less packaging as well as money. I didn’t spot the tuna but that’s a good one as it lasts. Will need to go back for sure!! X
@@LaraJoannaJarvis I take everything out of its original packaging for the freezer. Tear off the instructions and pop in a bag. Ikea ones are the best. Tuna tins are larger. I forgot maple syrup too xxx
We go every month for our none perishables, meat (much better quality and we freeze it), cereal, coffee, tea, pastries, washing products. They always have offers on, once a member you get a email telling you their deals). We have the space to bulk shop but if you don’t you could always split with family or friends. When we go we always pick items up that friends or family want. This month was coffee, Coca Cola, Pepsi cans, washing liquid. We have the exec membership so get about 2% back once a year from our spending there which we usually put towards a bigger ticket item or clothing for the summer. You do need to check if it’s a good deal but when you’ve been shopping there a while you kind of know if it’s over priced.

I couldn’t believe the petrol! Although I saw on the news yesterday somewhere is selling £1 per gallon cheaper than everywhere else and still making a profit! Just shows how much mark up there is on fuel ☹️

I don’t rate Costco you need lots of money plus you have to store it we had memberships but let them lapse x

The storage thing is annoying, and the portions are so huge, like you say you need to then be able to use or store them. It was good for party food though I thought! X
