Excelente video..!!
7:15 that coloring is so cool, i did this to my folding knife blades. One gold and one Copper. With a Torch it need a bit of practice but is faster (~2-3minutes) Heat up slow (move the flame fast equally over the blade) since the color comes with a delay of ~15seconds.
Your knives are excellent pieces of work. Although the sharpness of the bevel did start to disappear, you managed to bring it back. The polishing looks great and there were no flaws with the handle. Amazing job! :D
My only complaint: That pommel doesn’t have a locking mechanism that will actually allow it to be fitted to the end of a rifle, so it won’t function as a M9 bayonet would… but aside I’m pretty convinced you made a better one than what was ever issued lol.
What temperature you used for this particular knife and for how long? is it canole oil you used? I´ll be very grateful for the information... outstanding work.
Great looking knife. My whole reason for watching this video was to see how you put the groove in the middle of the blade and you skipped that part in the video. I’m sure there’s a technical term for it but I don’t know it.
Mohab Abdelkader thanks for the response. I have since studied and made many knives since then. Lol. I am currently building a proper 2x72 knife grinder
That is one wickedly sweet knife there. Looks like it could kill just getting close! lol I love the multi colored blade depending on how the light hits it. Nice.
So awesome, but for some reason when watching this, I was just imagining in a real war, a soldier just pulling out say, a colorful karambit and killing people wth it 😂😂
lol at 5:31 when you were cutting the slots in the handle i thought you were just holding the wood piece and letting the drill run wild...for some reason the vice grip and blade used to cut didnt register and i was like....what the holy hell is he doing? and then i saw and i was like...well that makes sense.
I must say this is Incredible ! I am not surprized at all but totally flattered by your super skillset. And I strongly hope this deadly weapon is not being used on any living being.Thank you for the show , It was really a treat to watch and thank you for speeding up the video to 2x2 3x3 mode otherwise it would have been a long video and who knows one might get bored . So Overall , A super duper performance and I loved it.
That's correct. The process is known as tempering. Different temperatures produce different colors. The initial heat and dip in oil hardens the blade. Tempering softens it back up some. Depending on the degree of tempering, you get different levels of hardness.
what temperature you used for this particular knife and for how long? is it canole oil you used? I´ll be very grateful for the information... outstanding work.

30 bin 40 bin gibi bi fiyat biçmen kafandan salladığını çok belli ediyor dostum bu bıçaklar ortalama 6-7 bin türk lirası yani g**ünden sallamana gerek yok :)
i didn't know this is possible until your video, i tried it myself yesterday. On mirror finished knife this looks amazing. I tried pizza oven before but didnt work after 20 mins, i tried even to put it directly under the red glowing heater coil. Then I used a butane gas torch which needs only 1-1,5 minutes, but needs a bit of practice.(hold the knife on the end with small nose pliers so less heat goes to the pliers and move the gastorch all the time up and down the blade.) This bronze is not as easy as gold or orange, since if you slightly are some degrees hoter you reach the red+pruple area. Up to Purple its realitve easy, but i didnt achieve a good clean blue one, looks too dark to me.But Gold, orange and Bronze look amazing, i love it. I suggest you to try 10 degrees less heat go avoid the purple on that bronze ( if that wasn't planned).
the fact that there's no music, makes it so relaxing
I read your comment and thought 'awesome, i can go to sleep to this.' Then BAM! Angle grinder.
