    Life is all about celebrating the small victories and when you can do it with a significant other they are even better. So it was really sweet and thoughtful of Taylor recognizing your "successful pinch". That was a beautiful moment you guys had there. Congrats Kevin on that small victory. 😂

      Thank you Svein! We didn't get a chance to try mølje unfortunately! Looks like it's more popular in the winter? Do you have a van of your own?

      @@MathersOnTheMap yes, you get mølje only in winter, i forget. Perhaps next time😁

    ... one has to eat the dried fish with butter ...that is the "trick" ...bad that no one informed you - regards from Iceland

    • @MathersOnTheMap
      @MathersOnTheMap  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting do you dip it in melted butter?

      @@MathersOnTheMap No - you take in just from the fridge ...and put a gut bit on the piece and it softens and blends in with the dried fish in your mouth - it is not good to eat it without anything :) ... this being stated, it is based on my assumption that the Icelandic and Norwegian dried fish, are the "same" - which I have no idea about, as I have never tried the Norwegian one.

    Taylor blowing up your spot 🤣. Successful pinch lol. What’s Taylor’s recipe for those tacos?

      Hahahaha! She uses fajita seasoning on the chicken, bell pepers a little jalapeño, onions, and cheese on tortillas!

    Ok so compared to Iceland (since they seem quite similar in scenery, the water, and that fish lolol), do you guys have a preference of one country over the other?

    • @MathersOnTheMap
      @MathersOnTheMap  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s tough because we got great weather in Iceland compared to Norway where we got terrible weather. I think If it rains in Iceland you can still go see things where as the beauty with Lofoten is the mountains so if there’s overcast then the visibility stinks and it’s beauty is robbed. I would only recommend Lofoten in summer or winter for northern lights. Shoulder season is a gamble.
      I think I would want to go back to Lofoten though yo give it another shot, maybe in the winter to see some oracs and the northern lights 👌🏻🤓

      That makes sense! I love your videos and I’m so glad I stumbled upon them (I’ll thank Iceland for that too!) you two are the cutest ❤️ I love that you’re doing 30 countries by the end of 30…that takes some pressure off and you can hopefully enjoy them more! Keep up the awesome videos!

      Thanks so much Jennifer, this made our day! We’re excited to hit that goal too! Takes the pressure off and allows us to go to more places in the carribean that we pushed off because they’re territories not individual countries! If ya have any specific types of future content we’re always open to new ideas! Thanks again happy 4th to you and your family

    Hi, I wouldn’t want be a ball boy during a game, one powerful sliced kick and your going for a cold swim 🥶🥶🥶. Couldn’t you nip across the borders to Sweden and Finland?

      hahaha I hear ya there! We've already been to Sweden and Finland before our weekly vlogging. Finland was actually one of our first ever travel vlogs haha here's the link, may be a little cringey though! th-cam.com/video/U8VCebrzkSA/w-d-xo.html

    congrats on the upcoming 30 in 30! (you could have cheated and done a sneaky drive-through of sweden and denmark before hitting norway...it's only 600km from copenhagen to oslo...too late now i guess)
