@@Mharsneen1999 have to agree... 80+ weeks at #1 is no fluke. since the OWGR came out there have only been 25 guys ranked #1. Of all the #1s I'd rank him above Westwood, Couples, Scott, Kaymer, Lehman, Donald for sure. He's obviously one of the best players over the past 30 years by any measure.
This to me is a lesson about expectations. They are some of the best golfers in the world with the newest club and shafts fitted to their exact specifications and they still miss fairways in a no pressure contest.

A great book that would be a great addition to using what you learn here is PRESSURE GAMES FOR GOLF. You can use it for golf lessons, learning the rules, and just about anything else related to playing golf. University golf coaches seem to be drawn to this book.
@@winstonsmith11as a semi pro bowler, every new ball hooks more than the one before and hits like nothing else. I’ve noticed the same in golf. Every club better than the last and more forgiving allowing golfers to miss entirely and the ball goes straight 300 yds with no effort. I can beat 99% of bowlers with the cheapest ball. Pretty sure decent golfers can do the same with some cheap POS beginner club.
I’m a bowler and golfer and I definitely notice a difference with each ball and I have 6 and I also have the qi10 set of clubs and it’s definitely worth the money
It doesn't matter how many times I see Charlie Hull swing a golf club I will never understand how her neck manages not to be covered in bruises with how deliberate her follow through is.
This is a surprisingly bad ad for the Qi10 Drivers. 15 total drives, and only 2 drives that hit the actual center? And these are some of the absolute very best golfers in the world that are aiming for the center. Crazy! Still mostly very good drives of course, I wish I could hit them like that, but if you are making a straightest drive contest with the straightest driver, 2/15 is not a great number!
About 95% of these shots were over 300 yards and in the fairway (which is what golfers are looking for and not a 10 yard grid).. not such a bad advert!
@@RyanH1987Absolutely agree, Every single drive here is extremely playable, but If I was TaylorMade I would have made those alleys way wider. The goal in golf is a playable lie, and even though they basically all ended up in a great position, but this was orchestrated to show perfect drives down the middle, and that's not really what we end up seeing. Personally, knowing I can't hit the ball anywhere as good as them, it would make me much more likely to not get the Qi10 that even PGA pro's can't hit dead straight.
@@maximama sadly not a single driver ever created will hit the centre of a fairway on multiple occasions (otherwise it just wouldn't be legal).. it's the person swinging the club that makes a club look decent or not. Check out Rory v Micah Morris long drive contest and you'll see 5 perfect drives by Rory (after their warm up).. hardly anyone on the planet can replicate that consistency regardless of the driver in their hands. You should also never compare a pro hitting a driver to an amateur - the best way on knowing the best driver for you is to simply get fitted! Not by watching their marketing schemes as they are rarely accurate for the standard golfer.
Why didn’t they mention what model of QI guys were using and specs. We def interested in it.™ team could be more in to they product info for all of us.
its almost impossible to hit straight shots. even if you ask a pro player they pick their trajectory depending on their need but hitting straights is highly unlikely. all of them hit good shots and every one of those shots would have been just fine on the course. dont be a bitch, the driver is not at fault.
Is Dustin Johnson not with TM anymore? I just find it weird that the lineup of pros used in the TM adverts is also aligned with who is a PGA Tour member. Weird
We do a version where a stripe is put down the center. Your distance is the length minus your distance from the center. So if you hit a 250 yard drive but are 30 yards right, you net 220.
Instead of a point value that is more of a step function, why not use Cpk? Assume the exact center is 0yds and the spec limits are +/- 10.5 (21 total yds) to represent the fairway width. This would reward the player who is closer to the nominal center of the fairway. The higher the Cpk, the closer the players distribution is to the center of the fairway. 🤷🏻♂️
Should have made the scoring be the product of the accuracy and the distance. A long 5 point hit could be worth as much or more than a short center hit.
Imagine being on a team with 2 of the best golfers in the last 30 years and they choose you to go twice. Respect to Nelly.
The way she hits it I was shocked she didn’t get a 10 pointer that last round. Just a beautiful swing

Stop getting pissed at missing the occasional fairway. The pros, people who do this for a living, miss fairways all the time.
@@allieandbodid you just assume his gender?
This is exactly what I was thinking
I am sure if we asked them to drive 230 yards like the average golfers, they would all have been in the middle.
They pretty much all hit the fairways besides Scottie. Just not the middle 10 yards of the fairway
Scottie's shuffle is so funny to watch.

We do this when training for LD comps. We minus every yard from center from the total. Turns a 330 yard drive into a 300 yard drive really fast:)

They name it the Straight Drive Contest and no one tried to hit it straight lol. Accuracy Alley is definitely the more fitting name
What I leaned is that buying Qi10 is not going to fix my terrible swing. Expected them to stripe every one!

Should have done it as a ratio; Distance divided by accuracy (Lower the denominator the closer to a straight line you land).
