Iv just recently started revisiting Portishead after being a fan when they first came out all those years ago. Now iv discovered another musical genius to uncover and can now spend many hours going over this guys music. How iv never heard of him is quite unbeleiveable. Thank god for Portishead that's all I can say. That was the best cover version of the song iv ever heard. Quite literally stunning. Music is a wonderful thing.
Went to see him in my hometown when I was just 17 he made an old hall look like it was an old blues club the smoke and fumes from drunken breath and a voice crackling with every emotion that it was acoustic led to the presence of his huge and wonderful personality, rip John missed nae forgotten.

Yeah, I feel that he doesn't get enough credit for his music. The guy released many great songs. Criminally undervalued.
