Hi, everyone. Just wanted to mention that draping is almost always done by starting on the right side of the dress form versus the left side. Hope you have a great week.
@@yahwehisontheway5094 Thank you so much. I actually didn’t use a recipe. It’s mostly tomato sauce, frozen vegetables, potatoes, broth or water and seasonings. I hope that helps.
@@CreativiteeByT Thank you, Tee. I loved the details on the shorts too. Couldn’t wait to give these a try. Team stews and soups all year round. Love that. :)
Style and Grace is my name for you; that you make soup is a plus :-) Love your channel and appreciate the dedication you put into it. Alberta, Mendocino CA
Don’t you wish the cutting could be this fast in real life.😂 Clever idea marking the pressing direction on your fabric!🙌 I like your fabric choices cute & creative. Thanks for the tip about the yolk. Cute shorts!
Oh, my goodness, yes!!! If cutting could be that fast in real life.... Lol. Thank you so so much. I loved the denim when I saw it in store. Thought it was really cute. You're so welcome. I actually think I will leave the yoke off if I make these again. I wore the shorts out once, and I was so happy in them. Thanks again.
Hi!!!! Omg. So glad to hear that. I think you are going to love this pattern. It's definitely a good one. The pants will be great for fall too! You're welcome. Have fun sewing this pattern. Thank you so much.
Great job on the shorts, and I really appreciate your explanation on how to apply that yoke piece (or how to skip it!) because it looks kind of complicated to me! I always enjoy your videos. Glad you still have a joann store. Your stew looks delicious! I love using summer corn and peppers in mine. Yummy!
Hiiiiii, Janis!! So nice to chat with you. The stew was yummy. Corn and peppers sound delicious. I had corn, but no peppers. Will have to keep that in mind for next time. Thank you so very much on the shorts. I wasn't expecting to have to take in the yoke piece. I actually may go ahead and leave the yoke off if I ever make these shorts again. So glad the explanation was helpful. I'm also glad Joann stores are still around here too. Thanks again!
These are so cute and love the fabric choice. Thanks so much for the info on the tracing paper. I’m going to purchase this because the other I have purchased for years is always dried out! Thanks for sharing another great make❤😊

I love your shorts! Thanks for the tip on the pattern, I would definitely like to just add that piece to the top of the pattern then pleat. Some times I wonder why pattern companies don’t go the simple route with the pattern pieces.
@@LeJanaroBarnes Thank you so much. You’re welcome. The yoke does create a horizontal style line on the front. I’m thinking that’s why it was done that way, but it can totally be eliminated. :)
Hiiiiiiiii, Vanessa! Thank you so so much. I love the fabric too. I thought it was really nice. You are so right about hot drinks year round. I didn't even think about that. That's soooo true. I'm going to mention that to someone in my family who is team soup in cold weather versus all year 'round. That's so good!!! Lol
Shorts looks cute on you, also smart move with the green button, yes that little opening was A/Ok even if you chose to put on a necklace you would never know it wasn't there. I'll come and taste your soup it looks delicious. Let me know how that top turned out or with you wearing it, it was a nice color, I'm curious to see how it looks on. Always looking forward to watching. Love, Aunt Irene
Hey!!! Thank you so much. I'm so glad the green button looked just fine not being where it was. It really did end up working out okay. Yes. Come and taste the soup anytime. I'm always happy to share. Thanks again. Love you lots.

I just received this pattern in the mail.....Thanks for the hack on the yolk piece. I love the fabric and your shorts. And, yes I eat stew all year round as well lol.

What a great video to watch! That’s a cute shorts pattern and I’m positive it’s gonna look cute on you even before I see it on! ❤❤ That camo fabric I have to have and will be headed over to JOANN to see if I can find some later today!
