Thank you for checking out Dorothy. I had a very strong feeling that you'd like them. If you didn't know the bands name is Dorothy and her name is Dorothy Martin. She's definitely the highlight star of the band but it is a band. Kinda confusing but makes perfect sense, and is just a cool band name imo. Yes that unplugged set was the 2 songs and a interview with Matt Pinfield. Rest In Piece is also great. But you can pick any official release live or studio and not be disappointed. Her collaboration with Nita Strauss called Victorious is quite good too.
I've scrolled by this band so many times mistaking them for Daughtry, wow, I feel like such a dumb ass, Dorothy's pretty good, I'm interested in seeing more from them.. Have a great New Year Nikki
@@LostHate I almost had the chance to see Dany Lzzy and Taylor on the same stage in my town Juky 2022 but TPR had to cancel their part of the tour because Taylor had covid. Still a great time seeing Halestorm and TheWarning the same stage but am sad I missed the chance to see TPR too.
@@PaulSink yeah, I was supposed to be at the Dallas show of that tour where Lzzy gave Dany the guitar....I still get sad that the opportunity to go was taken from me. I hope they do that line up again but add Dorothy, it's my dream.

Grit , is the term I would use for that little extra she puts in the vocals. Goes well with this bluesy rock style. Not surprisingly, Lzzy and Halestorm have had them as an opening band.
Anything from her catalogue is good. For a regular video try "after Midnight" For another unplugged or acoustic do "Rest in Peace" Great review, and as i said you really can't go wrong with her and her musicians
