Key thing to watch that’s interesting is when Angus has a problem with his guitar and needs to change it, the change is almost seamless in the sound of the music because Malcolm - the guy to the left of the drums (via our POV aka the drummer’s right) - Angus’ (lead guitarist)’s brother was so good a guitarist that he was able to fill in for Angus whenever a problem would arise all while keeping the rhythm which is what a rhythm guitarist’s job is - to keep the rhythm of the song - basically the background guitar. If you were to watch their live performance of You Shook me all Night Long live 1996 at the Plaza Toros de las Ventas, you’ll see that just before Brian starts singing, Angus snaps a string and has to change his guitar and Malcolm essentially plays lead until Angus changes his guitar which coincidentally happened to be when Malcolm would naturally enter the song anyway. He was so skilled and so smart and a HUGE loss in the musical world. Losing him in 2017 forever altered their sound.

Been a while since I seen this :) A few years ago (2011) I got tickets for my wife and I to go to the "Family Jewels" exhibition and talk in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Museum about the band's link to Scotland, you know they were born just outside of Glasgow? Once the lecture was finished we were treated to AC/DC being played on the great organ in the main hall of the museum
Yes it’s true. I played in bands in the 80s and 90s in AUSTRALIA. and on one tour we had an ex AC/DC roadie on our crew. He told me the story of Rosie when he was touring with AC/DC in Tasmania in the 70s. He was one of Bon Scott’s best friends and even showed us letter Bon had written him when they did their first European tours. Classic stuff.
I see one of the comments here saying there was three vocalists. That is correct. Dave Evans, ( no relation to former bass player Mark Evans, who is the only member/former member to write an autobiography on his time in the band & everything that happened after) was the original vocalist that was on their first single release. He sang, Can I sit next to you, girl on side A, & Rockin' in the Parlour on side B. He was literally kicked in the arse off stage at a gig once because they were doing a gig on tour once, & complained of having a cold & not wanting to give it his all. He was posing his satin clad arse to some girls in the front row like he was "The Show," when Angus threw his brother Malcolm a quick glance. Mal gave the nod, & as Dave turned back around, BOOT! Angus kicked him square in the arse off-stage! Bon Scott, who was their driver & sometimes fill in drummer, was asked to finish the show. Poor Dave had to watch on. Dave still claims to this day that he still belongs in the band. He even autographs Accadacca albums that he had nothing to do with. Sad!😢! But yeah, there you go!
AC/DC was and is a blues rock band. If you do not belive - listen to the best AC/DC song, Ride on. You do not get more great blues Rosie was - at least as Bon told, a chick that had nailed 25 guys in that months (around the 10th of the month) and Bon was the next one... a huge gigant (around 190cm and 200kg).
@@MartinaBabic-es6bz I wouldn't say they invented it. They were a little late to the party for that. But, they distilled it like perhaps no other band.

Hi Nikki. You should check out their video for the song "Bad Boy Boogie". I don`t remember the year it was done, but it was in a small venue. The crowd was packed in so tight they were probably duct taping the walls to keep them from bursting. Amazing show, excellent song!
I watched angus fall off of the speakers, hits the stage and you hear the bang thru the speaker and he gets up and never misses a beat. He was electricuted in this concert
There's a video of AC/DC on Australian TV doing an excellent cover of "Baby, Please Don't Go." It's hilarious and it rocks! I like that video even better than their video for "It's a Long Way to the Top if You Want to Rock & Roll."
My understanding of Angus Young’s guitar malfunctioning during “a whole lot a Rosie”, is that because he sweats so profusely, that he sometimes fries the electronics of his Gibson SG guitars.
I know this is going to make me sound like an old head, but not many bands give their all on stage like AC/DC! Angus switching guitars mid song, always putting on a show. He is still moving around and banging that head even now in 2024! He might be a little bit slower, but he is still giving the audience his all!
I gotta check out a newer performance to see what it is like now. But you definitely don't sound like an "old head" 😂Just in the few performances I've watched, I can agree that most bands to do not match that kinda energy on stage. 😅

I have this on Blu-ray and it is one of the greatest concerts ever filmed. At the end Angus is so knackered that he needs to go to side of stage to have oxygen.
3 singers, but the first one didn't last long. Here you see Bon Scott on vocals, he passed away in 1980. Brian Johnson is the 3rd and current vocalist. Yes, he broke a string, which necessitated the guitar change. The one lyric also said "But you give it all you got weighing in at nineteen stone". 19 stone = approx. 266 pounds.. Saw AC/DC in the mid 90's, and they used that inflatable Rosie at that show. The "Witches Burn" by The Pretty Reckless live video you watched, was opening for AC/DC.

Broke a string, I suppose. And Angus would later go wireless, which makes sense. He then apparently had his preferred sound. That is, a set that gave a certain overdrive/distortion/compression, and gain for playability.
Guitar-Breakdown: A thing you don´t see like that anymore nowadays... (because every band-member has someone watching over, so if sth breaks, they´ll immediately jump in!) ...but them OLD ROCKERS knew if they won´t fix it asap theirselves, they´d be screwed...! ;) They just rearranged the song on the fly, when Angus´String went to the Heavens of all ém Guitars! ;) AC/DC is and always was a LIVE-Band...again: A thing you don´t see like that anymore nowadays...ok, maybe just less...and often faked! Bands nowadays have fallbacks for this...back then they just had to throw signs while performing, so the others knew, they had to perform some time without that one crucial piece of the Band...and they just did...every Band back then...because they all knew what music is about! Today someone watching will just replace anything you just lost, while you are still trying to hit the lost thing...hit me with your rhythm-stick! ;)
i first heard of acdc in 1985 fly on the wall was very heavy and i listened to bands like dio metallica anyway i seen them in 1988 on there blow up your video tour and im a fan of acdc for life
Acdc had 3 singers. Dave Evans was befor Bon Scott then Brian Johnson. Who was recommended by Bon Scott to sing for him if anything was to happen to him. Thought Brian was the best singer he heard in a long time. Brian was the singer of Geordie (British band) at that time
I would personally suggest some of their lesser known songs with Bon Scott.. Like, Night Prowler or The Jack, or Jailbreak..! The stuff that didn't really make it onto Radio Sheeple F.M. was usually some of the best stuff back then!..
Bon Scott was the original singer. Brian Johnson took over after Bon died. A couple of songs you can check out are Ride On and Rock n Roll Ain't Noise Pollution.
Angus is unstoppable. He is real "in" and rocks the crowd. 3:01 Nope, Bon was the SECOND singer, their first was a heavy drug addicted who could not compete with the others. So for the mass crowd Bon was the "first" and Brian, the third was the finest replacement they could find in 1980. But as sad as it sounds, Brian will allways be the "Nr.2" because Bon is the GOAT, the greatest frontman of all times, greater even as Freddie. His raw sexual appearence - we could see her licking her lip and we all know what THIS mean - even 45 years later - combined with his dirty lyrics and his perfect show made him really to the greatest of all time. Next to Freddie Ronnie van Zandt may have turned into some similar guy, for sure Freddie was the coolest frontman of all. But if you want to know who is "REALLY" in Sex, drugs and rock´n´roll - it is Bon. Sadly he died, we all want to know how the band had performed with him the next 10 years. Bigger? Smaller, because his death caused the focus on Back-in-Black? Who dies it know for sure? 3:40 - Angus recognize his guitar is damaged and calls for a replacement - still full of energy, not ready to stop the song. THAT is passion. 4:20 a string is broken and he needs another guitar to play further, givinig the solo to Malcom as long as he is unable to perform. ABout Malcom Young, his brother - Angus was once asked how it would feel to be the "best guitar player living in this world" - his answer - i am not even the best in our band, that is Malcom. But Malcom never wanted to be in the focus - because that would disturb his "fun with the girls and alcohol". But hell he was the metronom and the heart of AC/DC,. Around 5:00 they switch back and Angus takes over again.
@@nikkireviews Bon said it himself: "To my surprise, Rosie never stops." Great reaction. Suggestions? Overdose, Down Payment Blues, Gone Shootin', Evil Walks, oh hell, just do 'em all. 🤣

Nice to see someone reacting to other AC/DC songs other than bloody Thunderstruck all the time, thanks Nikki. The band has been around for over 50 years there are other songs other than Thunderstruck or Bon Scott songs sung by Brian, nothing against Brian but Bon Scott songs should be heard sung by Bon because that's the original song and what made them popular all over the world in the first place.

Je ne regarde pas souvent la messagerie et c'est la raison de mon retard.
Une dernière chose. Cette vidéo à été prise en France. Je me sens très concerné...
Encore bravo pour votre choix et longue vie à votre chaine.
I think the guitar of angus is like his third arm , he has total control
It sure seems like it! 😂
watch them live at the river plate - let there be rock - most incredible guitar solo
the story is Bon got caught one morning by the band, in a hotel with a very large statuesque lady so Angus wrote a song about it
🤭
Angus didn't write the song, Bon did. Angus wrote most of their songs.
Bon Scott was a shiny golden rock god!
i love this concert, got it on blu ray
Que grandes AC/DC 👍🤘❤️
Lo que esta banda ha hecho por el Rock es increíble
De las mejores de la historia sin duda.
I can tell you really got into that.
Yes, those are Rosie's ample measurements. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks!
Fun fact=Rosie is a true story that happened to Bon while partying!😂
Angus!Angus!
i love you Bon
i love you malcolm
the kings are gone but not forgotten.
One of the best rock-metal band and fantastic Bon🤘
Whole lot of rosie my all time favorite song
Good to see someone reacting to a diferent ACDC show, and even better, from Bon Scott era
I was a teenager when ACDC came out.
Broke a string, I suppose. And Angus would later go wireless, which makes sense. He then apparently had his preferred sound. That is, a set that gave a certain overdrive/distortion/compression, and gain for playability.
Yeah, he definitely needs wireless with how much he bops around. 😂
best pure hard rock band ever
Great song. I say them many times. I saw them in 1978 Bon was still alive. 🤘🃏🎸🍺🥃🤤🇺🇲🛸
Oh man, that's awesome. 😁
Whole concert is epic
Her measurements she's a big girl 😂😂🎉
Guitar-Breakdown:
A thing you don´t see like that anymore nowadays...
(because every band-member has someone watching over, so if sth breaks, they´ll immediately jump in!)
...but them OLD ROCKERS knew if they won´t fix it asap theirselves, they´d be screwed...! ;)
They just rearranged the song on the fly, when Angus´String went to the Heavens of all ém Guitars! ;)
AC/DC is and always was a LIVE-Band...again: A thing you don´t see like that anymore nowadays...ok, maybe just less...and often faked!
Bands nowadays have fallbacks for this...back then they just had to throw signs while performing, so the others knew, they had to perform some time without that one crucial piece of the Band...and they just did...every Band back then...because they all knew what music is about!
Today someone watching will just replace anything you just lost, while you are still trying to hit the lost thing...hit me with your rhythm-stick! ;)
Saw acdc in, ik think, 1978 in Arnhem Holland with Judas Priest as support act...whole lotte rock that evening, i was 14 years old
i first heard of acdc in 1985 fly on the wall was very heavy and i listened to bands like dio metallica anyway i seen them in 1988 on there blow up your video tour and im a fan of acdc for life
My favorite AC/DC Conzert ever.....I saw it first 1985........my favorite song for you is..... Live Wire ..... 🙂
Rosie was a full figured gal for sure
Saw them twice in Vancouver British Columbia Canada in early 90s
Oh wow, that's awesome. Was it great?
@nikkireviews yes was then because they were younger and healthy, now I'm not sure because they probably have another singer
TH-cam...Check out "AC/DC Live at River Plate" you will see Rosie. A brilliant concert.
I will do that! Thank you! 😊
3:47 The stuff in his guitar were breaking down because of his sweat. That's why he had to get another guitar.
Acdc had 3 singers. Dave Evans was befor Bon Scott then Brian Johnson. Who was recommended by Bon Scott to sing for him if anything was to happen to him. Thought Brian was the best singer he heard in a long time. Brian was the singer of Geordie (British band) at that time
Oh wow, I didn't know there was 3. 😱
Bon but not forgotten...
Great choice Nikki….. AC/DC with Bon is 🔥🔥🔥 please thank your husband for this one 🎸🤘🏼
I would personally suggest some of their lesser known songs with Bon Scott.. Like, Night Prowler or The Jack, or Jailbreak..! The stuff that didn't really make it onto Radio Sheeple F.M. was usually some of the best stuff back then!..
I'm not the biggest ACDC fan but Bon Scott is the epitome of a rock frontman. Bon and Robert Plant just exude charisma.
Bon Scott was the original singer. Brian Johnson took over after Bon died. A couple of songs you can check out are Ride On and Rock n Roll Ain't Noise Pollution.
Thank you! I'll add them to my list. 😊
RIP BON SCOTT !!!
Love it. Chantel McGregor did a good version of this song.
big woman love too
Pure energy.
No, he never stops. Neither does Rosie.
😂😂 That made me laugh
@@nikkireviews Bon said it himself: "To my surprise, Rosie never stops." Great reaction. Suggestions? Overdose, Down Payment Blues, Gone Shootin', Evil Walks, oh hell, just do 'em all. 🤣
Yes..Angus is still moving great . slight slower but hell im 47 and slowed down too lol Rosie was a lady of the night in Tasmania..she passed in mid 80s they say from a disease..yes .those were her measurements
I'm glad you liked it! I like checking out the stuff everyone else does but I do try to have more variety and deep cuts on my channel as well. 😉😁 Glad to have you here and I will have to check out more with Bon Scott! 😊
Twice, I've seen them live. 🤘🏻❤️☺️
