I have to laugh at the big blooper that was made in the 1970s TV movie "Rescued From Gilligan's Island" concerning Mr Howell and that would be Jim Backus wearing current day glasses (for the 1970s) and not his 1960s black horn rimmed ones he had during the show's original run! Proving that aside from "Fake Ginger" they also wanted you to use your stretch of logic imagination! "A shipment from LensCrafters washed up in the lagoon and the professor knew how to do optometry..!"?!
Ha!! My favorite blooper would be the episode “The glue won’t hold” where they glue the Minnow back together. Gilligan when yelling at everyone the glue won’t hold Gilligan has a pack of chesterfield cigarettes sticking out of his front pants pocket. I know that was not intentional Gilligan Bob Denver was a heavy smoker just didn’t cover them up properly when it was his turn to be in the scene. I’ve seen every episode a hundred times. I can’t believe I missed most of those new bloopers.
That isn't the title of the episode. The scene you are referring to is from season 1 episode 8 'Goodbye Island' and that blooper happens at 21:14 into the episode.
In the episode where a Russian lookalike of Gilligan comes to the Island, Gilligan says "Comrade" to the skipper and no one flinches, blooper or not? Thanks Rick great job!
My favorite blooper is when the castaways return from the castle in a boat as it hits the shore you can see the studio wall through the trees painted blue. It was really close to the lagoon
I grew up watching Gillian’s island. I’ve seen every episode probably a million times. My favorite episode Gilligan double, specifically the screen where gilligan and his double are looking at each other like he’s looking in a mirror, that was funny.
My favorite blooper is the one where Gilligan is wearing the skippers hat and falls off the edge and magically is wearing his own hat. I never noticed that. That's interesting

I'm unsure I can name a true favorite, although I think it is cool seeing the fan to the left of the scene blowing the falling money from the hanging bag. It is so easy to just think that is the way it happens naturally. Rick, it is amazing how you are able to catch all these bloopers and all the other work you do, too, is amazing!
It is wonderful to see a younger generation still enjoying these shows. One of the things I loved about Gilligan's Island was how they all got along and had the strong moral fiber to live like family who loved each other. Granted that was for the show, but I am sure many of us learned from that. The last blooper, the allergy to Gilligan, was also one of my favorites. I never did notice the person blowing out the candle on the other side of the board. However the part when Skipper holds the sneeze in and his hat pops up had me rolling on the floor. I enjoy your videos very much and especially the last things you say, always be hopeful, are reminiscent of Red Skeltons' "Good night and God bless". Always leaving all with a positive outlook. Awesome! There is another show you might want to consider covering. He was so funny and never seemed to get as much attention as he deserves. I am catching his show on an obscure channel on cable and am delighted. Anyway, thanks so much for your videos. Keep up the terrific work.
Another great post, but you didn't mention the little hut that was right on the small beach when Gilligan found the NASA space probe thingy - #3 in this video. I don't ever recall seeing that little hut in any other episode. All of the other huts are further inland. These really are so much fun to watch and they take me back to better times on TV. There is a blooper on the island's location. Season 1, Episode 18, at the 9:10 mark, it is announced INCORRECTLTY as 140 degrees Latitude x 10 degrees Longitude which is nowhere near Hawaii. The correct location is given in Season 1, Episode 21 at the 22:06 mark as 10 degrees Latitude x 140 degrees Longitude which is the correct location for the inhabited islands south east Hawaii.
Excellent observations by all! I think there is another blooper in the episode where Vito Scotti guests as a scientist who switches everyone's minds. During the run of that episode, I think there is a scene where Bob Denver is trying to hide a cigarette in his right hand.
Blooper maybe, In the episode Hi-Fi Gilligan. When the girls come out of there hut when Gilligan is sitting outside the door and he woke them. Maryann appears to be wearing heals. Kind of odd just getting up
One of my favorite bloopers was in the episode when The Mosquitoes come to the island and the ladies decide they'll perform as a singing group called The Honeybees. At the end of "You Need Me" when the girls are mouthing a buzzing sound with "buzzy" lips, Mrs. Howell instead makes an "oooo" face, but then quickly changes it to a "buzzy" mouth.

I remember an interview, I believe it was with Tina Louise,.saying the performers felt it was the worse script they worked with from tbe show I know it is a sitcom.but even before the iinterview I felt that also.
