You will need pillow, big yarn (I ordered on AliExpress.com 1kg, but there was lot left), pins, scissors, needle and thread.

Lol so looks great at the end and better I think then most typical ways to do the style. I was just thinking before I found this video like I dislike doing the looping method and was like I wonder if anyone else does this stuff in a different way. Seems like every video you see of how to make a chunky blanket is the typical loop across and then next row pull through leaving a loop and over and over idk not really fond of that method kinda janky to me ... Your ways pretty cool and less stressful my opinion of course .😀👍🏻

First of all, I ordered this yarn to make a loop pillow, but the yarn itself that came to me was not flexible, so the loops looked ugly, I thought for a long time what to do with one kilogram of yarn that I don't like, and then I came up with this idea! I thought the result was great!

I am confused. I love this design but once you have done three or four rows and your yarn is getting short, does that mean you have to pull more yarn through all the previous rows to have enough to continue on? Am I missing something?
Yes, in fact it is so, the first part is wrapped around and cut off as much as is enough, and then the next round, which already crosses, has to be pulled through everything, so it is better to pull out a longer piece right away. 😊

How many of those pillowcases can I make out of one ball of yarn?
I used one ball of yarn and used a 38x38 cm pillow. There was quite a lot of yarn left over, I think if you took a bigger pillow there would be less left over but if you have three pillows of the same size you would need three balls 😊

The pillow was 42x42 cm, if I remember correctly, IKEA's standard small pillow. 😊
But where do you get the braiding? I've never seen it around and don't know what it's called. Please help!!!!!!!
