- 10 Years ago the Canon 7D mk 2 was released to the wolrd. Today I still find myself using this camera regularly and today we are looking at why it has stuck around soo long.

Bought my 7DMK2 new, still got it, awesome camera built like a tank!
That's awesome, a great testament to the build quality!
I had a 7D between 2013-2017 and it worked on everything. Now I have 1D series bodies and a few days ago I got a mint 7D Mark II. The same good build solid quality as in the orginal 7D. Better performance than I thought. Beats many cameras as a 10 year old thing. One of Canon's best AF setups. Build is so good that Kai W on DigReV TV put one 7D into the durability test of all time. It survived drops, water, freezing, fire and it worked. The 7D Mark II is not a toy or a plastic tourist/ consumer cheap shit. Its a Pro body even today.
Currently using mine to cover a wedding ceremony, I have 5d Mark iii...but I love 7d Mark ii

I still use my Nikon D810 that's like 12 or 14 years old, still a tank of a camera that takes awesome photos.
Older DSLRs aren't dead and can be had for a bargain sometimes.

I ordered one a few days ago and it'll be here tomorrow. It'll go alongside my 5D Mark IV and 6D Mark II. I'm looking forward to the FPS and extra reach of the APS-C sensor. 😊

Hey guys, I love the 7D Mk II except for one MAJOR issue I’m having which cripples me live streaming via hdmi. It auto shuts off after 25-30 mins EVERY TIME I try to live stream with it! This is a dealbreaker for me now that my live streams are extending beyond 30 mins! Has anyone else had this issue or know a solution? And yes, I have the auto shut-off turned off so it’s not that :) I’ve tried it with a friends 7D as well and same result, auto shuts off after about 30 mins EVERY TIME! Any ideas? Or solutions to resolve? Thanks in advance for any help anyone has.
Hi there I have the 7d mark ii but in burst mode I can only 3 quick shots..
Could this be due to the speed of your SD card?
@@TobyWoodPhoto I'm not sure either I bought a new SD card and it didn't make a difference.. I have it set to take 10ff a second.. My SD card isn't the cheapest but also not the best..
I have a canon rebel xs that's 17 years old and still works great.

Most camera’s downgrade px count when you use a telephoto lens 7d2 stays at 20 mpx 20 mpx is better in low light it’s not the gear it’s the 👀
What do you say about the high iso noise?
It has never been too bad for me in decent lighting. Obviously it struggles in the dark however it is significantly better than the 250D and other entry and intermediate cameras
