I'm returning to the realm of looking at the world through a lens after a huge hiatus, after watching both your 250D and 7D videos, you helped me realize sooner, rather than later - I'm going to end up with multiple cameras.. not only that, but also which one to get first and in my case, it will be the 250D! Thank you.
I still use my Nikon D810 that's like 12 or 14 years old, still a tank of a camera that takes awesome photos. Older DSLRs aren't dead and can be had for a bargain sometimes.
I had a 7D between 2013-2017 and it worked on everything. Now I have 1D series bodies and a few days ago I got a mint 7D Mark II. The same good build solid quality as in the orginal 7D. Better performance than I thought. Beats many cameras as a 10 year old thing. One of Canon's best AF setups. Build is so good that Kai W on DigReV TV put one 7D into the durability test of all time. It survived drops, water, freezing, fire and it worked. The 7D Mark II is not a toy or a plastic tourist/ consumer cheap shit. Its a Pro body even today.
I ordered one a few days ago and it'll be here tomorrow. It'll go alongside my 5D Mark IV and 6D Mark II. I'm looking forward to the FPS and extra reach of the APS-C sensor. 😊
Hey guys, I love the 7D Mk II except for one MAJOR issue I’m having which cripples me live streaming via hdmi. It auto shuts off after 25-30 mins EVERY TIME I try to live stream with it! This is a dealbreaker for me now that my live streams are extending beyond 30 mins! Has anyone else had this issue or know a solution? And yes, I have the auto shut-off turned off so it’s not that :) I’ve tried it with a friends 7D as well and same result, auto shuts off after about 30 mins EVERY TIME! Any ideas? Or solutions to resolve? Thanks in advance for any help anyone has.
I found a very affordable copy second hand with 30,000 shutters and it's replacing my geriatric 400D. Next time I see an Eagle launching from a perch, I hope to have several viable photographs not just one! There's a mountain of menu homework to do here but I'm keen!
@@TobyWoodPhoto I'm not sure either I bought a new SD card and it didn't make a difference.. I have it set to take 10ff a second.. My SD card isn't the cheapest but also not the best..
For the past couple of months I have been using an older Canon 1000d which I picked up from a pawn shop and when I recently went their again because I thought about getting a Nikon b500 that they had I noticed tucked away in the back of the display case A complete camera that 7D mark ll at a bargin price it isn't the type of camera that I normally use because it's aimed at professionals and not hobbie photographers like myself that can Get away with using older entry level cameras even though I paid near top end in my budget for what I would pay for a brand new bridge camera the Price was worth it for a slightly better Canon camera even if I never use some of the flashier professional functions on the camera because for one I never use cameras for video recording I Prefer to use camcorders for that task as it was what they were made for and are also idiot proof just point ond open the flip screen
It has never been too bad for me in decent lighting. Obviously it struggles in the dark however it is significantly better than the 250D and other entry and intermediate cameras

Most camera’s downgrade px count when you use a telephoto lens 7d2 stays at 20 mpx 20 mpx is better in low light it’s not the gear it’s the 👀
What do you say about the high iso noise?

@darrenkirana use denoise software. I shot a football (soccer) match at dusk at 6400 ISO and the imaged were clean as after denoise
