Check with bait shops in general depths and areas that have been producing as that can vary from year to year. Than be prepared to drill a lot of holes until you find the fish.

In Wisconsin we don't have very many jumbo perch, very few wallys either, so just stay away from Wisconsin.

Those perch are tiny compared to the perch at lesser slave lake
