Loue (La source - Mouthier) - MW - 10 OCT 2024 - Jura's gem - IV-V (VI)

We managed to paddle this Jura's gem. We were lucky because due to the renovation of hydro powerplant we had very decent water level. It is not common here. Sometimes it happens that even though you have water level once you scout this section, you come back once you shuttle car and water is gone cause power plant has taken everything.
Due to closure of the road, we have run it whole and then walk back to take car. Walk took around an hour.

So, a series of picturesque low head dams, separated by a few sluices, decorated artistically with strainers.

I would say in top3 also Egua and Sermenzino. For top5 I would add Strandelvi and Gronda.
