Pat was right on both accounts. His defense made BJ have bad games. He also won the spot over McCants. McCants was making too many excuses as to why he quit. How can Mitch want you but they signed the other guy and you end up overseas? 😂
They actually didn't sign either of them. Pat Bev went back overseas until the next season, and Rashad ended up on the Mavs D League team. Mitch hooked Rashad up with a workout cuz he's a fellow UNC Alum and Rashad ended up not even finishing. He didn't realize how embarrassing it looked to the coaches for him to get the hookup of a lifetime and still get outworked by an undrafted free agent from overseas.
