As a hooper, KD’s move is significantly worse than Bron.
As bad as it looked like for Bron, the best player at that time, to leave and team up someplace else, KD leaving a championship contender for the team that just eliminated them just screams “I want it easy” much much louder.
CLE was a contender solely because of Bron for years. At least he had a reason to leave unlike KD.

If the Warriors had upgraded to someone between Harrison Barnes and KD instead of KD, Curry could still have 4 rings. If it wasn’t for two potential career ending injuries, the KD Warriors would have three.
Curry‘s a foundational team piece that you can build around. KD is the ultimate final piece for any team, but he can’t win you a championship without a solid enough foundation.
This is true for every player though, Jordan needed rebounds and post defense because he's a guard. LeBron needs spacing to compliment his driving and passing. Kareem needed a PG to lead the offense and pass well. Unless I'm missing your point, a superstar needs their supporting cast otherwise you end up with 04 Pistons beating the Lakers

As long as he’s allowed to move without the ball freely, Steph will always be effective and his teammates will have far less pressure on them, making them better by default.

Outside of Game 4 (2017 Finals) and Game 3 (2018 Finals) Steph was 31/7/6 on 45/45 from 3 on 5.4 makes a game/ 94 from the line Steph in 2018 was the best player in 3/4 games for Golden State and 2/4 games overall for in the 2018 Finals (Game 2 and 4) and he lost FMVP because KD had an all-time game 3. The same reason Bron won Olympic MVP was the same reason why Steph lost FMVP in 2018.
