Thanks for the detailed review of the Beeline Velo 2! I have a question about the battery life. The manufacturer claims it lasts around 11 hours, but is that realistic in actual usage? Also, since the Beeline Velo 2 connects to the phone and uses its GPS, does this have a significant impact on the phone’s battery life? I’m curious to know if the Beeline app + GPS drain the smartphone battery considerably. Thanks in advance for your feedback!
From the use I've had it certainly does last the hours, in regard to battery life on the mobile with the GPS - not really seen any difference.. Keep an eye on a video dropping on the channel Sun/Mon/Tues next week as this will be testing the Beeline on a all day ride.

Might sound like a stupid question but does it actually pick up gravel paths/cycle paths or just roads? As in the video it showed you adjacent to the main road but can it actually pick up more rural routes?

Glad I could help! I think it's a smashing little device that's fits in nice for folk that do not want to spend mega money on a Garmin or Wahoo.
I recently purchased the Garmin 130 but I may end up returning and buy this instead for the mapping feature.
