Love the fact the you are interviewing real people, it give us all a better feel of the world of Tesla outside Tesla, yep very useful for sure please do a lot more of these.
We saw the unveil in 2019 and thought "what the heck!? . Then we saw the specks and we thought "that's amazing!". Put a reservation down on December 2020 and as we waited slowly we continued to be amazed and fall in love with the idea of it. Still, seeing our place in line we know that we are not going to have it until 2026 the earliest...maybe! But now, during our Christmas holiday in New York we saw it at the Tesla show room and we were "OMG, that is f***ing awesom!". It look amazing in person, it looks like an exotic car in a SUV/Truck form that can be on the roads...it doesn't look weird as it did in 2019...it looks like it belongs on the road and we can't wait to get ours. The thing that surprised me about cybertruck is that I want one. I've never wanted a vehicle. I've needed a vehicle so I had a toyota corolla. I have no practical use for a truck. I just want this thing.
Came across an RC Engineering Prototype charging last weekend. In person it's hard to comprehend. It's striking and alien, and from some angles kind of weirdly ugly. I liken it to a celebrity who is sexy, hot and ugly. But they have that extra something about them as well. The CT is Courtney Love, circa 1995. Chatted with the engineer. Said it's the best Tesla he's driven.
Surprised how smooth the steel was. For some reason I was expecting a bit of grain. Wiper looked fine in person and the rear was not as ugly as I expected. Got to bang on the door and panels (with permission). Crazy solid.

Clean and apply wax to prevent fingerprints.. that is what people who own stainless appliances do. I have no idea why this is ever was an “issue”.
I’ve seen it at showroom. Perfect sized. Looks small from front coming at you in the wild.

The giant windshield wiper improves the aerodynamics by 1% (when parked), so wouldn't a second one on the right side improve by another 1%? They could both be full size with interleaved action and as an additional benefit, passenger side visibility would be improved (shotgun riders need to see out!), and no change would be needed for righthand drive models.
From the 0original unveiling four years ago, I've thought it was great looking, not weird. And I like it unpainted, un-wrapped. Eager to see one drive by one of these days, which shouldn't be that long here in the Bay Area. And it's the most multi-utility vehicle ever, a truck and SUV.
2 suggestions for Cybertruck:
1. Add outlets to frunk so it can be used as a makshift kitchen area during camping as well as charging phones/laptops when used as a front seating area.
2. Rear window PASSTHROUGH! Many benefits - feels like a convertible if all windows & tonneau cover are open; family pet can be petted & talked to & hop into back seat; emergency escape from sleeping in bed during camping to front of vehicle to drive away from danger; ability to put long objects (8 foot boards; fishing poles; ladders) through opening while tonneau is closed for rain & security issues (tonneau cover could be closed as tailgate opens and long objects slide in and pass through open rear window, then close tailgate). CT computer can be programmed to only allow tonneau cover to open & close if rear window is rolled up.
I'm in Tucson, AZ so I'll have to wait until one comes to our service center or when someone here gets one before I do. I can hardly wait! Thanks for the view!
Its a truck with a SS skin, once you wrap it, now has a delicate surface as if was painted.
Some wraps are self repairing for minor scratch.

5:40 - I'm surprised that the showroom Cybertruck is a Foundation Series. I would have thought them to be just run of the mill Cybertrucks that might get sold in a couple of years after test drives are finally allowed. And no light bar. I thought all of the Foundation Series Cybertrucks had a light bar.

We have one in the Riverside Tesla showroom here in SoCal. I had a chance with my spouse to see it and test drive a Model Y for the first time. I walked around the Truck, took pictures, I love it just as it is. My wife thought it might be O.K. in a color wrap. Amazing vehicle!

I want one but won’t be able to afford one for several years. It will be my Daily driver and should be commonplace by then.
The guy who got one of the first trucks (Our Cyber Life) posted a video about their trip back from TX to AZ, where the speed limit was 80mph so they drove at 85mph. They were using ~800Wh/Mi. After they slowed to 75mph, it was ~500Wh/Mi. Yikes!
this seems normal. There was a crazy guy who lowered all the speed limits to 55 mph long time ago and that was because of the crazy efficiency increase compared to doing 80-85 mph. It's like a wall of air driving at those higher speeds.
I didn’t like it when they drove it out at the reveal in 2019, for about 30 seconds, then I remembered how Elon described it a year before, and I understood. In 2023, I understand it even better, as imo anyone who calls it ugly and doesn’t like it, apparently still doesn’t understand Elon, and won’t. Kudos to Elon, Franz, Lars, and the whole design and engineering team for bringing something so futuristic and outrageous to the streets. And they made the Cybertruck powerful, comfortable, efficient and fun, like most Teslas. They didn’t have to , but they all work for Elon…

Is the CT a family car? Can you comfortably carry 5 people. No one talks about back seats. Model Y is too small for 5 adults.
It could be. Lots of room for 5 adult.

the first person uploading videos of their cybertruck is a family of 4. Sandy Munro said of the back seat "you could live there forever." He also said these are the most comfortable seats in the industry. For the 5th person they'd have to sit in the middle of the back seat - like you see the guy sitting (Franz) in the Jay Leno video. Family car, yes.

It feels like the same part of the brain works on how to spend a lottery jackpot, and how it would feel to park 🚀 in front of my house and call it MINE! In other words, cybertruck IS much more real than it FEELS !
Air Compressor? Does it have one?
no air compressor. The existing compressor system is not good for inflating large tires, it would take too long. They also mentioned the 48v system, that it's probably more cost effective to just buy any tire inflator and plug it into the 110/120v outlet.
