I was so lucky to see him as '68 Comeback Special at the San Mateo Fairgrounds in 2001. Mark Winchester p,aged bass and Bernie Dreslen on Drums! I immediately became a huge fan. He never played a venue close to me again. :(. He’s wonderful!
Really a very cool cat. One of the best live shows I have seen was the Stray cats. Thats a real compliment because I have seen The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and a whole lot more.
Im lucky i got to meet him and sit down and have a beer with him! He even asked if i was in a band at the time! They say dont meet your hero's but thats not the case with Brian! He's waay cool!
