I currently own both however I have yet to try out my g4-20 so I can’t speak too much about it. My first ever pack was the Osprey kestrel 58. Used it for one trip and immediately wanted something more comfortable. Upgraded to the atmos and it did not disappoint. Super comfortable and handles the weight well. But know I’m trying to go lighter this year. I’ve been upgrading certain items to lighten the load and I truly love my atmos but it’s just so heavy so I’m excited to try out the g4-20 and new hyperlite unbound 55
Yeah it’s crazy because the atmos is super comfy!! I love it myself. Once you start to dive into the lightweight/ ultralight setup though it’s half the base weight! Haha but I can’t say anything bad about it. I know Osprey has some other packs that are their stab at an ultra light pad as well! But thank you so much for watching I hope you watch more and have a good time with your new packs!
Pro Tip: At night, place the removable pad from your pack right under your sleeping pad under your sit bones. It'll protect yer inflatable and provide additional insulation from the cold ground. ; )
If you want to carry heavier gear the Osprey is more versatile. Light weight packs are great but not as versatile for the average person. I watch these light weight hikers adding bear canisters on their light weight packs and it looks kind of funny and unbalanced. If the light weight back packer used a traditional backpack with his light weight gear it would be really ideal in my opinion.

The g4-20 is only 139 from the site now. And all packs are 30% off
Yeah if I was you I’d buy one! My buddy went to go get the gorilla in a medium and it’s already sold out! I wonder how different the new ones will be!

I got the osprey pack and I love all the features. Been looking for something lighter might give the G4-20 a try!
It’s a great pack! I’ll always recommend it! Thanks for watching buddy!
