Excellent picks, some real classics there and a well-deserved high place for Apex! If you're looking for recommendations, two of my favourite albums in the genre that are a bit off the beaten track are Defying the Rules by Hibria from Brazil (Dragonforce without all the keys n cheese, with one of the most metal album covers ever) and Dreamland Manor by Savage Grace (featuring Thomen Stauch on drums and Hansi Kürsch-soundalike Jens Carlsson on vocals - probably the best Guardian album the bards themselves never wrote). Cheers!
Excellent choices! I literally love each and every one of those 10 albums haha! Always enjoy watching lists like this. I did one forever ago, but can't remember which albums I chose. It would most likely be different if I did it again today.
Cool list. I’m not big on power metal but I do like it. I haven’t heard of some of these bands, like Unleash The Archers, so I’ll check them out. I also wasn’t expecting to see Avantasia on here. That’s a name I haven’t heard in a while lol. My go to power meta album was always A Twist In The Myth by Blind Guardian.

@talknchet you're welcome thanks for checking out the video
Good list my friend. I also not huge on Power metal myself.
@hectorThechilldudeonacouch yeah don't feel like I know as much as I should but it's definitely grown on me as a subgenre
I've listened to power metal since 1997 and Visigoth DEFINITELY falls under that umbrella. I love both of their full length releases!
@@WilliamRyan-h2y Good to have that seconded thanks!
