Wait?… There’s a Women’s reading event this month too?!
I know right? In honor of international women we are reading women authors or books featuring fierce women. 😊

What a stack! I wonder how you’ll get along with Alias Grace and Book of Night Women.
I think I will love both them but we will see! I love Handmaids Tale and a book that was a magical realism telling of the slaves in Jamaica / Haiti so I’m thinking these will work… 😊
Your clothbound books look great in your curio. I'm curious to know what you think of Hester. It really sent me down a rabbit trail of embroidery. LOL happy March reading!
I like Sara Pennypacker's Clementine books. Ooh, Alias Grace is one of my facorite favorite Margaret Atwood novels. I would classify as a backlist title; I think it came out in the 90s. Looks like a good month!
Yes alias grace is my “Classic” even though it’s modern classic and I want to read the Clementine books!!!
Looks like a good reading month! I really enjoyed Hester. Violeta was a mixed bag for me. Some of the writing is lovely, but I found it kind of slow.
I have heard good things about Hester and Violeta I am two chapters in but so far I’m liking the set up.
Whoop whoo for Night Women - defo some fierce female characters in that one! Thanks for linking my review matey 😘
I’m so impressed that you are up to book 11 of WoT!! One day I will read that series 🧡
Yes I look forward to it though I know it will be a hard read in content. WoT is super violent often but at least it’s just fantasy! Going to be a great month!
I loved Alias Grace and didn’t love Hester 🤔. I have Violetta on my TBR. Well I went to a local bookstore in London and they had several cloth covered classics however no Tolstoy. I wish I would have gotten your contact number before I left and I could have text you some selections. So sorry I couldn’t find either one of them 😫 but my daughter and I tried.
What a fun adventure and I will email you my number for anything in future - I love that you thought of me 😘 will see how I get on with those three books- so far only started Violeta which I really like so far!
You’ve got a great TBR for March! Hope each one is awesome 😊
Thank you- 😊
Alias Grace can work for Fierce Reads because she is a fierce lady for sure 😊
I just love watching tbr mugs ❤
Great to know! Haven’t started that one yet but looking forward to it!
You have a nice pile of books to keep you going for March.
I have started Violetta!
I think you can do it too!!
I think I can do it too! Let’s go!
📚hope it’s a great month for you!
Thanks- same to you 🧡
