    I'm not specialist about boat's but this boat look almost the same as a Viking boats, what cant be bad, because only that kind of boats I like, and yes this process must cost easy a million ? But why not, if is demand and $$ WHY NOT.

    So this begs the question. If these boats will go thru many multiples of engines in the hulls lifetime, is there a better way to do this? Has no one figured out how to make this easier??

    • @sakibian01
      @sakibian01 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not all boat's go thru of this. Sometimes it takes 30-40 years to change engine's.
      Probably this owner had a sudden change of mind or he needed more power under his/her chair. Removable bridge won't be that much strong,i guess.

    How about foil assisted hulls.... = less drag = more speed = less fuel = longer range = wave dampening. If the poil assist allows the hull to ride just a couple of inches out of the water, you will already gain on all those areas. I don't see why it would lower the aesthetics if the lift is no too drastic.

    Cat is not a leader in diesel engines. The fact that they still use iron and not aluminium shows how behind they are. 3000kg for an engine and only 1500KW is far too heavy. It's still single cam with rockers also.

      Was a Bit shocked they took out 16V MTU 2000 Series for Cats C32 but this new Engine if Built as strong as CATS are know for should outlast the Equivalent MTU, they are taking notes from MTU however in regards to the Triple turbo system, although MTU does it a bit different. Also Wish they would give exhaust sound in thr videos.

    • @drfty1194
      @drfty1194 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JaiHazel they’re comparing these engines like the MTUs are straight out of the factory when in reality they’re 14 year old M93s. the new M96s are significantly better even though to get 2400 bph you have to have a 16v
