I just want to say that since you turned your lights on immediately after we hung up the phone….. I win! 😂
Smh
Hello to Hayden's sister 👋👋👋
Nice crop of cab corn you have there Hayden... Grin. Thank you for the ride along!
light game MOM won...lol...great video Hayden Nice for your sister to drive all that way to see her family. Thank you buddy
You're so lucky to have a family that drives so far just to be with you.
Another very informative video. Thanks for explaining the cornhead. It’s great to see Hadley joining you & Dibs! What a blessing family is!😊❤
I find it amusing how much more work you do due to technology compared to our operation in 1965 with our John Deer 95. Good luck to you.
It's interesting that bags were used in North Dakota and metal grain bins in Nebraska. In North Central Idaho, I've never seen wheat stored in a bag. The farmer usually arranges trucks to haul to the Port of Lewiston (Idaho) and then barged down the river to the Pacific Ocean. If trucks are scarce, then most farmers have the home storage grain bins or sometimes haul to a grain cooperative. No bags. Your videos are great! Thank you.
thank you for sharing specifics relating to costs, efficiencies, characteristics of equipment and the overall fun one has at harvesting time! Yep, I subscribed due to your educational efforts and quality of presentation!
Good to have you back I love corn harvest its nice to change it up Thanks for taking us along
nice to see you again…cheers, Rob
Good grain cart operater could keep up we run 16 row head just switched to 18 row head might have to use a second grain cart. 30 inch rows
Thanks for explaining the cornhead
One's row of shame is others "Victory Lap!"
Hi Hayden just found your channel, really enjoying it 👍🏼
Love your videos, I watch all of them 😊
Best thing to watch in the grain cart
Combine driver is like: 👁️👄👁️
👍👍great video take care.
Easily can do 240 bu/acre with one cart ,S780 and a 12 row, dont even have to pick in lands, The key is a large enough tank extension to make a half round and unload on the way back to the trucks,so unloading a full tank then emptying out again just before the end. Works for up to half mile rows anyway. Neither the combine or the cart is fully loaded for very far.And since the trucks are right there and the combine empty, the cart will be back to the combine in time.
very informative video.great video💓💓💓💓💓
That's not a row of shame, that's a bonus row. :D You can hear how much harder does the combine work in corn.
I guess there is always two ways of looking at something haha. Yes it pulls way harder lol
lets goooooo, new harvest!!
You answered one of my questions, I was wondering if you had any siblings because I didn't recall hearing you ever talk about any. Is she your only one or are there more? Also, where did the corn headers come from? Did someone have to bring those up from Texas? I haven't watched much corn harvest or soybean harvest (saw some on another channel) so this is all new and interesting. Thanks for explaining things for some of us that haven't been involved in this type of harvest. What's the temperature there in Nebraska? It's still hot here in central Oklahoma, but supposed to cool down next week some. Fall is in the air!!! Your aggies (I think you said you went to Texas A & M or am I mistaken?) beat the razorbacks today (my cousin is the kicker so I root for them even though I'm an OK State fan).
put the May West brush saving kit works great on lowering your header lose
Second love the videos
How long does it take until your combine is completely full in a 250 bushel corn crop? Greetings from Germany
i live in north eastern colorado about 3 hours from Grand Island
Watching😎😎
When you move your Mac Don headers for a great distance, looks like you tie them down on the trailer in four places. I would like to see a close-up of where you attach your straps. I run a 35 foot MacDon and was told not to tie to the main pipe but to only tie to the adapter and there is absolutely no easy way to get the strap around any part of the adapter. By the way it looks like you enjoy corn harvest as much as I
OK. I heard "dry land corners" and "separate for insurance purposes". I watch your videos because I find them and the harvesting process interesting (no, I and not a farmer nor involved in it...). Could you explain those comments?
Farmers pay insurance on their crops just like you pay insurance on your car or house. In this case he payed for insurance up to 120 bu so if the crop makes 90 insurance will pay him the difference to get to 120 but he makes a 130 bu crop then he can’t draw insurance. Therefore, he needs to keep it separate so he knows how much they make so he can get paid.
You should try a Drago head.. Its worth the $
Does the farmer not have a combine
Can we get an estimate on how much the fuel bill was for moving the equipment and team to Nebraska?
≈ $10 a mile
Do y'all have a farm?
So you & your mom run the combines, Cody is in the Cart, does your Dad & John mainly stay in the trucks doing the hauling?
Yes
first
How come your sister doesn’t work with the crew?
This life isn’t for everyone. She was raised in it, can run the combine as if it’s in her blood, but doesn’t prefer it- & that’s ok.
Какая урожайность
That was just so wrong mom. Lol that's not how the game is played..
Have you seen any animals running out in front of you lad?
Yes
WTF was that? YOU just rip the oil stick out and shoved it back in?
You didnt check the oil.. Besides it was a little black . Come on....
So after your oil gets black you change it? Come on….. also the stick has a level and if the oil is in between the two lines you’re good.
