so glad this popped into my recommended when it did bc it reminded me that im still not caught up on gachiakuta... anyway, great video dude!! this was a fantastic breakdown of urana's art style, and your final piece came out so well :)
When I learned to draw Western-style cartoons with a pencil as a kid, the bolder graphite lines were always reflective and indented into the page because of how much pressure I was applying in order to convey a sense of line weight. Fast forward to middle school when I started drawing in an anime style (and drawing digitally, or with pens) and until now, I just cannot get myself to draw the thin, clean lineart employed in so many illustrated works (unless I'm drawing something with a lot of detail). It just feels so restrictive and sterile honestly lmao
GACHIAKUTA MENTIONED RAAAAHHH🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥 (i still haven't read the manga) Someone's told me that my style reminds them of gachiakuta a little which i think is pretty cool
throughout my art journey, i have always had a fixation on large/weird ears, so i am always playing around with them until i find something that works for me. The end goal is always “quirkiness”.
@@Temomemo-yt i assume you’re talking about her drawing methods? i didn’t state that she used digital or traditional in the video. that said, she uses both. traditional for the base manga inking, and uses digital for color pages and cover illustrations.
Hey im seth and im making a smash bros fighting game and can you talk about my art i know its not the best but its still art i know im not good at it but i have fun

@@cedcreates she’s awesome
It’s so expressive and feels very deliberate (meaning every stroke of her pen has a meaning)
your art is so cool, i really love the way you shaded in your second art. ive also been really inspired by the art in gachiakuta too!
thank you, i appreciate that! and yes, she is such a great artist!
AND YESS you have a great point. a lot of manga look pretty but ones with extremely expressive characters are rare. very good video. subscribing
the improvement is crazy oh my god
@prysmatic2990 thank you!!
Her works are so amazing, so are yours!

Great art man, can clearly see the inspiration behind it but also making it your own
thanks so much- i’m always trying to keep my style and personal touches apparent!
Amazing vid, breakdown and progression in art was great to listen and see
thanks for the feedback!
i really like your analysis, and the final product for your oc was beautiful. i was wondering what brushes you used to achieve that texture?
thanks for watching. If you look up "whyt manga copic tutorial", his method is the most similar to what i use to achieve that texture!

thank you for the kind words! that’s why i tried to use non-spoiler panels and stuff… or at least things that wouldn’t be too spoiler heavy lol.
