I think that wanting to get into a car accident and break your leg to have a long break from work is another sign

Dread, boredom, and feeling like you're not contributing. Those are good signs, thanks for sharing

A good one for me is feeling like you're not being heard or listened to by management. You bring up a valid concern to a manager and it falls on deaf ears

This video is so synchronistic. When I go to my job. There is a corridor I have to walk to get to my dept. When I enter I feel like I'm choking before I touch the door knob. I even feel my chest tighten. I have been willing to "suck it up" to pay the bills and the money isn't bad but I just can't anymore. Thank you.

I'm currently working in a "survival" job in retail and I absolutely loathe it. I disclosed my dyslexia to my boss and supervisor, as I was struggling a bit with the workings of the cash register and also I have short term memory problems. My supervisor treats me with such little respect and regard and never has anything nice or good or encouraging to say. When she's in charge of the store I am not allowed to stock the shelves and tells me to just stand there to greet customers. Once she put me on the cash and there was 20 customers waiting and I struggled immensely and asked for help and she rolled her eyes each time I asked and hurried through the steps and said "it's not rocket science." I stutter sometimes and she gets very impatient and tells me to "hurry up, you're waisting my time...get to the point!" My coworkers have noticed that she talks down to me. I thought by disclosing my disability it would help her understand my struggles and help accommodate my needs, but instead it's like she's using it as leverage to make the work day unbearable and extremely unpleasant. I can't figure out why she is such a bully. It's making going to work a dreaded, awful experience.

My breaking point with my last job was that I had to work everyday, commute 30 minutes to and back, work outside in 100 degree weather, just to be flat broke and having to work extra hours in the day just to be able to eat and pay bills

I walked out of my job because of other people and bad management. Lazy people. Low wages.

Thanks for this video. I am feeling 2 out of all you mentioned, it takes every fiber of my being to get myself prepared for work. I have a supervisor who is ethically challenged and grimy, I hate the work and the environment. I needed this video, it is time for me to go because he is not going anywhere.

Feeling like you are spinning your wheels and could be doing more elsewhere. That’s one that I feel. I work for an agency and have retirement built up and feel the need to stay their to continue to feel the fund. We call it Golden Handcuffs.

Thank you for this. I'm currently 18, working only on weekends and close to highschool graduation. However, I dislike my job. I work at a bar as a doorman. I want to quit, but my parents guilt me into keeping the job. I feel like I'm stuck in this predicament. But all 3 points of your video literally call out to me, and I feel that I (as a person and worker) am more valuable to any company than standing at a front door. If you read this, thank you for your time :) just needed to vent.

I finally got my business administration degree this summer but I had to work ar Burger King to afford it. I can't describe how much I hate this job, I think mainly because of the people and the managers. A toxic and negative environment where people are just consistently commenting and nagging about every single minor thing. Honestly the managers act like they're Gordon Ramsay and most co-workers think that we're running some kind of 5 start restaurant. I try to keep it cool but in my head I just wanna scream and snap at them.I don't know how much longer I can take this crap. My biggest fear is: "What if I quit and I can't get a job with my diploma right away"

Good video. Right know I am in this stages for 3 months, but I am afraid to leave this job, because it takes lot of time to find a new one.
