I have to say that Kev is far more tolerant with Max than I would be.
i think we're all sick of max's sheer disrespect and abhorrent behaviour at this point, i for one will not be watching another video if he is in it. i've met a few like him in the rc world before and i do not think it should be encouraged perpetuated, these things are expensive.

I have never seen one person wreck so much havoc on so many RC vehicles as Max. It's almost a guarantee that as soon as you hand him the controller, it's gonna be Game Over.

Braking stuff is a big part of the hobbie so I don't know but he does break mostly everything he touches but if it was such a issue kev wouldn't give him the remote. Just my look on it
@@g0r3whorethat’s true, but it’s the fact that he showed next to 0 caution with someone else’s stuff. The guy gunned the throttle 10 feet from the dock on a 12s boat, on an angle facing the dock! Anyone with a brain wouldn’t have done that.

The question for me is, does Max destroy his own stuff with the same will to break it as he does with Kev’s stuff?
I own this boat. 1 you are correct with the props they will do 120 mph in fact with mine it's more 135mph. Your mistake is you just don't put on the props and think it's going to go that speed you need to balance the boat out for that speed. You need to more weight in the front of the boat. I use pound lead fishing weighs in the front taped together. For me I put about 2 lbs in each pylon. also I move the batteries towards the front as well. Also for the love of god adjust the trim tabs to keep the front down. At least that is a start there is more to it but that will get you started in the right direction.

They both go tough on rc models, it's content. more than 1/2 of kevs content contains damage repairs. Sometimes things go worse than expected...

You have to adjust the trim tabs on the stern (little flappy things on the back outside edges of the boat) in order to shove the nose down at speed, they must be at the same angle or it will want to turn by itself or barrel roll at speed, they are just like the flaps on a plane's wings. Awesome boat, well it was awesome...
That's what I immediately thought based on my limited experience watching boat racing.
No, you adjust the cgi and prop angle:) Flaps are mainly for v bottom boats. But you can use them for extra stability on cats to.

Absolutely agree! Used to be a model powerboat racer many years ago. Multihull you need to trim as the others say by adjusting the centre of gravity and/or the prop angle. Once you get the minutest back tilt on those at speed it’s just like a wing and will take off! Btw… let’s see an outrigger hydro ;)

I really enjoy your content and as an older rc modeller it really saddens me to see the unnecessary destruction that Max seems to enjoy. Its none of my business but please consider how your viewers must feel when they see this sort of thing happening. Wasn't going to comment but felt I had to say it. Honestly seeing Max have a blatant disregard for your boat was kind of disrespectful. I know you two are friends and you probably don’t care, but that didn’t seem like a simple accident or mistake. He intentionally full throttled it in a position that was obviously super risky. I guarantee you if that was his boat that wouldn’t have happened.
Anyway, don’t mean to be the Debbie downer, people make mistakes and if you can afford it it’s all good. I guess Max is the one you always go to when you’re ready for your toy to meet it’s maker lol. Glad you’re a good sport!

It’s hard not to be mad at max when you see something valuable treated like trash. Yes it’s all fun breaking stuff but it’s a childish mentality. Sometimes even toys should be treated with respect. Especially when it’s not yours MAX!

@@M14armorer Well the fact that many of us are struggling to pay the bills and would love have an RC boat, then see him do that just bites at a persons. The energy and resources that it takes to make these things is pretty amazing if you think about it. How many people put hours into mining the materials, creating the plastics, assembly, shipping, and so on is not appreciated as it should be. We live with this instant gratification society that’s forgotten how to see the forest through the trees.

Having much experience with boats: trim tabs at the back have to be set to keep the nose down, you're getting air underneath the boat and turning it into an airplane.

Cats don’t have trim tabs… Only the V-hulls utilize them. With the cats and especially twin cats it is much more about water conditions and wind.
@@electricplane9074 go to 7 secs in on the video. The stern of the boat isn't a "true" catamaran. He could install some trim tabs easily back there.
That's prob why it's taking flight: instead of passing under the hull and out the back the wind is getting caught underneath and causing lift.

Kev you need to adjust the pitch and hight of the prop. And also ad adjustable stabilizers. I have some videos about it with my traxxas M41 with testing and everything.

Much can be learnt here, prop size, placement of batterys, stinger angle.
And never give the transmitter/controller to Max
you can get 3- or 4- or 5- bladed props for that boat, it will go much faster with those i think, there is a manufacturer that makes them ( USA based????)
Kev dude if you're blowing off like that you need to move your batteries forward and maybe even lower your props or get higher lifting propellers or all of the above. Also if you're going to try to repair that. Take all the Hardware off of it everything. Clean it inside and out tape up the outside real good try to match all the seems. Then fiberglass everything from the inside then pull the tape off after it's cured off the outside. Then you can body filler the outside and repaint it if you want but because you don't have a jig I don't think it's ever going to be the same. Cool video buddy! RC boats Rock but you sometimes need to balance them out if you don't want to be upside down all the time.

What a shame. It was stupid running that boat so fast near the dock. Lucky he didn't hit that little girl or anyone else. He knows it blows over easily. He wrecked it almost immediately. I think the batteries needed to be moved forward, and trim tabs adjusted.

Actually really wanted to see this boat work. Not a bashers boat. It’s like taking a fully tuned track rig that’s only for racing and destroying it at the skate park.
Those props have way to much lift built into them for that hull. It shouldnt have been blowing over at that slow of a speed. I dont know any prop guys that work on rc stuff but they def need reshaped if you give it another go.
45mph on the water is fast! Especially with any kind of chop. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun, nice!

Kevin I run a few boats well over 100mph. Including a 1.5m cat running 24s. Here in the uk. These a bit of set up to be done to go over 100. Not just as easy as put dashboata props on and go. Can help with animal cat if need some direction ✌️✌️

To get the higher speeds you need to adjust the trim so that the front of the boat is closer to the water
