#MarvelComics - บันเทิง
I was hoping the X-Men graphic novel 'God Loves, Man Kills" would make the list. If you ever want to understand the mutant struggle in the comics, this is it. The opening is so powerful it will make you stop reading for a moment, just to take it in.
This should have made the list for sure
Or death of Captain Marvel.
That actually happened to me.
I was surprise God Loves, Man Kills didn't even make in the list, not even in the honorable mention. That sums up what mutant struggle is. Also Thor God Butcher story arc and Immortal Ironfist should also be in here.
What about the one where hulk smashes?
Or the one with Spider-Man punching
Nicholas Borg or the one where Thor summons his hammer
Nicholas Borg Or the one where captain America threw his mighty shield.
Or the one where the Punisher has guns
Or the one where deadpool breaks the 4th wall
Or the one where the Thing Clobbers
why is Wonder Woman On The World War Hulk cover?
You saw that too?
I didn’t realize that until you pointed it out
i Need an Answer to why she's there OMGGGGGG
That's not the original cover. It looks like it is a Photoshopped image.
This link is most likely where it originated. comicvine.gamespot.com/forums/battles-7/battle-of-the-week-results-wonder-woman-vs-world-w-1624817/
Born Again was not the main inspiration for the Daredevil show, the man without fear was
TomtomCable exactly
Ironically enough season 3 is now
It was for S3.
For season 3 it is
My Top 5 favorite Marvel stories:
1.Marvels (the unique take was awesome and Alex Ross' art was the icing on the cake)
2. Old Man Logan
3. Planet Hulk
4. Daredevil: Born Again
5. Thor: The Surtur Saga
What about "God loves, Man kills"
Old Man Logan is overrated
its crazy how old man logan is now going to get adapted into the deadpool 3 movie!
Arris is a perfect host! The way you guys show comic book images with cool subtle background music as Arris narrates is perfection! Keep up the awesome work!
Very happy to see that Avengers: Disassembled made the Honorable Mention list.
Daredevil: Born Again is the best comicbook story ever written. If it's not on here there must've been a mistake.
Edit: Great list
Marcus Blixenkrone-Møller laughs in All-Star Superman
laughs in Kingdom Come, almost all stories written by Geoff johns and Alan Moore, the Dark Knight Returns, Batman year one, Superman Red Son, DC the new Frontier, Batman the long Halloween and a lot more, but I don't know more out of my head,
Born Again was truly something special
Saying the best ever is highly arguable but, it is one of the best.
Laughs in Dark Phoenix, Deadly Origin, Age of Apocalypse, Old Man Logan, and Secret invasion.
6:07 what in the Wonder woman.
Never noticed O_o
Mr Green I noticed that. Hahaha! What?!
Mr Green glad I wasn't the only one
they must have just grabbed a pic from the internet not realizing
I also noticed that...
Im a simple man... I see Born Again... I press like
Congrats man , daredevil born again series is comin🎉🎉
question: why did you used a Brazillian poster to show Days of Future Past movie?
mestre12 is that a problem
they might've used google image search with a small poster to find a big one, and saved a large one and used it without noticing the language on it. not much of a big deal though.
It was probably under free use in the Google images
@@mikelzwarthoed8080 yes pussy
@@pookypoo1169 boy you are a super dork...
Old man Logan?
Jonathan Bohm overrated af
for good reasons
Jonathan Bohm it's a novel
Abdo Salem it was a limited release ( I think that's what they call it I could be wrong) but it eventually got compiled into a graphic novel
All-Star Superman?
Aw mannnn I love Marvels... You should do a video just on that series. Excellent art, interesting story, philosophical ideas etc. A fantastic mini story
"Don't try To make sense of it, just go with it"

My new motto!
One of my personal favorite for sure: Wolverine by Jason Aaron. I just love that he really humanized the character in such a way that I had to make Wolverine one of my favorite superheros. Sure, he's freaking awesome when he's on a rampage but to see more of his flaws and how well it was executed had me astonished.
"I've created a human child, I know what I'm doing" BEST, QUOTE, EVER
probably one of my all time favorites is old Man Logan and wolverine flies to a spider. some really great reads and fantastic art work
Did anyone else notice Wonder Woman on the World War Hulk cover?
Sarah Vehlewald yup
Sarah Vehlewald where?
Anime World in the bottom to the right
I’m pretty it was just put there as a joke
Wtf lmao
Arris: it's been 51years. What are you waiting for?
Me: Money.
you can read it online!
House of M and Civil War are the best Marvel storylines to me
yep except the mcu civil war version was just ok and was such disappointment. they really should of save it for another phase after the infinity war.
WhyteLis21 I personally dislike the comic and really like the movie, funny how that works 😜
ok. lol. the movie wasn't good like the comics in my opinion.
Christian Allen I didn't like Civil War that much, the writers made a lot of heroes stray from their original charecteristics
Civil war story is shit.
Age of Apocalypse was what started my (serious) Comic Book Reading life
Planet Hulk and World War Hulk are probably the coolest modern day story arcs. So damn good. Ragnarok did a decent job of scratching the surface of Planet Hulk. Just a phenomenal read
Glad I watched this! Just recently got into reading comics at 35 with invincible. I'm hooked now. Extremis was on sale on comixology. Now it's time to watch the rest of the list 😅
Okay after watching 3 videos of your top 10 countdowns Arris all I have to say is this, “ thank you for giving me easily at least one maybe 2 years worth of comic recommendations and story arcs if I am able to make it last that long which based off of what I am doing now probably will not happen.” I am currently reading both the very first Deadpool comics and the 2012 comic book series simultaneously and am going to have to say he’s putting up quite the hard fight to beat as my favorite character to read right now though as the saying goes only time will tell.
Old Man Logan
Thor: god butcher/bomb
Thunderbolts: Faith in Monsters/ Caged angels
Doctor Strange: The Oath
X Men: Messiah Complex
can u do a spider verse storyline or a world war hulk storyline. Maybe u can do a history of vulture or shocker episode since Spider-Man homecoming is coming up
Absolutely love this video man. You guys keep it up!
Your videos always on point, keep up the good work. Also congratulations being a father :))
Kraven's last hunt would make a great adaption for movie like Spider Man Homecoming 2.
Sorry to disappoint you but the Spider Man: Homecoming 2 will most likely to features Mysterio as its main antagonist
No it wouldnt. It would be a great anthology though like venom
I don’t thi
I think it’s a bit to early
Victore Recososa yep
Where's the Man Without Fear?
AR Studios exactly
Fr the man himself
The ballad of Beta Ray Bill and Hickman's run on Fantastic Four are two of my favorite stories
Thanks for the top 10 list of Marvel stories.
What percentage of marvel comics has jack kirby either written or co-written. Also how many characters?
Who else just skipped over the advertisement before #5
me
-_-
Me
Yep
Me dude
Absolutely great list. I remember reading these through the 80's and 90's.
Can you do something with all the legends Star Wars comics? Marvel and Dark Horse. I want to go back an read some of them and I don't know where to start.
Hey guys, great video. I would love to see a Top 10 Star Wars comics video too. You could maybe make 2 of them, one fro canon stories and one for legends
Swamp Thing vs. Groot
swamp thing stomps he is basically planet earth
First off, Groot is made entirely of nature. Swamp thing controls nature. But I feel like Man thing would win Swamp thing in a fight.
BlinkThenDie swamp thing would stomp man thing so bad its not even funny
swamp thing, he can't die unless all the green on the planet die
Not a fair comparison. It should be Man Thing vs Swamp Thing.
And Man Thing would demolish him.
In serbia you have a series of books called "The best of Marvel" and it contains most of these stories.
I actually love the fact that Marvel Month is on my birthday month, and that it continues on my birthday
My favorite is the stand alone Wolverine in the midst of the Brood story line. I forget the issue number. Wolvie is impregnated with a Brood queen egg, as are the other XMen, but he is able to resist owing to his adamantine skeleton and healing factor. It's freaking awesome!:)
Hey Varient just wondering can you do Jack Kirby's Fourth world/ new gods and apocalypse? Thank you 😊
5:58 for anyone wanting to skip the adverts & get to #5 ;)
youre cool
Thank you!
Kraven's Last Hunt is by far my favorite Spider-Man story. And Planet Hulk/World War Hulk is one of the best written Hulk stories to date.
Immortal hulk?
The trial of Galactus should be on this list, a super important story that shows all that kills isn’t necessarily evil. The fear in the remaining inhabitants of the planets Galactus as devoured grabs you. Even Oden weighs in.
I would recommend Thor: The God of Thunder by Jason Aaron, especially issue 1-12, where Thor from 3 different eras have to battle Gorr the God Butcher, a villain who have haunted Thor for centuaries.
The best fucking Thor story arc ever. Truly epic.
I completely agree Arris!!
Your so awesome love your videos! Keep up the good work 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Variant and Emergency Awesome are my two go to guys about comics and superheroes. Variants focus is on comics, and Emergency Awesome is everything DC and Marvel relating to TV and Movies, both really informative and cool dudes.
Bryan Betz comicsexplained is another really good channel for comics. he actually breaks down the stories and goes through them with you explaining everything thats going on, what the characters are thinking at that moment and what it means for the larger overall story arc. he has covered pretty much all the popular and not so popular marvel and dc stories. he also does other stuff like the walking dead and some other comics. you should check him out.
The night Gwen Stacy died was the one comic I cried on. I honestly wonder at times what would have happened to SpiderMan now if he killed the Green Goblin for it
5:30 Weeaboos be triggered
Braden Sheffield LmaoXD
Braden Sheffield DUBS??!?!?
Blake Franklin no dubs
Why would they even do that. Personal preference aside, most of us hate dubs.
the best thing I did Subbing to you for comic info and the kicking my ass for not reading some is a bonus!
I like this video!! You should two videos, one for 10 best crossover event storyline in DC, then one of Marvel, and then on top, a combine publication 1p best story line crossover event.
Fear itself, underated
Rob kirkmans Marvel zombies
Old man Logan
Planet hulk/world war hulk
Anything Mobius illustrated
Tbt I feel like DC have the better stories and the ones that really elevated comics to another level either way I love both companies
But Frank Millers Daredevil and The Death of Gwen Stacey were on this list, and both those comics actually *did* elevate the medium....
+Darkseid Lord of Apokolips
Not everything should be a competition between these two companies simply because they equate in popularity-- that being said, it's kind of foolish to say merely one of them impacted the medium they each extensively contributed to. Comics didn't change simply because of three books from one publishing company, its something that happened gradually with diverse works of literature. *Both* Marvel and DC elevated it with their very impactful stories that people are still reading and discovering today.
LONG LIVE STEELO amen brother, your a badass
+Ya'BoiPaulyH
Thank you, sir.
LONG LIVE STEELO no prob
My most favorite Marvel storylines are Spiderman: Kraven's Last Hunt, Spiderman: Torment, the 4 issue miniseries called Wolverine by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller and Daredevil: Man Without Fear.
The fact The Dark Phoenix Saga and Days of Future Past were only 2 issues apart is wild. 2 of the greatest comic stories ever made, virtually back to back. Claremont's time on X Men might be the best comic run ever. He rarely missed and wrote on X Men for 16 years..
dr strange vs doctor fate
In a fight, neither would win. But as a character, Strange is simply more interesting.
then you combine them into one as Dr.StrangeFate
Dr. Stange is a better character, but Dr. Fate would win the fight
thank you variant
Hawkeye (Matt Fractions run), Astonishing X-men and X-23 are some of my favs!
Hey, I'm a huge fan of the channel and I love watching your vids. I use to collect old comics and only read the Star Wars comics by marvel now and am hoping to get back into my old time favourites like x-men and Spider-Man. Because of Spider-Man homecomings upcoming release I was wondering if you could do top 10 Spider-Man comics, thanks.
Make the episode about the best crossovers and events in marvel please
TheBomDotCom yes
"FOR GODS SAKE, READ IT! YOU HAD 51 YEARS"
But I'm only 12...
Born again and Daredevil Yellow are so good!
Keep up the vids man your one of my favs
HISTORY OF SWAMPTHING!!
VariantComics Omg thanks!
VariantComics how about Man Thing?!
RedHood
My favorite Marvel stories (No restrictions) :
1. Hickman's Fantastic Four
2. Planet/World War Hulk
3. Deadpool Killogy
4. X-Men: Fatal Attractions
5. X-Men: Days of Future Past
6. Old Man Logan
7. Siege
8. Dark Phoenix
9. Spiderverse
10. One More Day or The Clone Saga
Okay #10, I couldn't type with a straight face! 😂
Number 10 better be a joke 🤨
Kraven's Last Hunt, Mutant Massacre, The Oath, God Loves Man Kills, The Death of Captain Marvel, Messiah Complex, Age of Apocalypse, Triumph and Torment, Weapon X, Back in Black........ any of these would have been better choices than Under Siege or Extremis.
Good list but I felt (and hoped) number 1 would have been Infinity Gauntlet. I feel this story is epic and important for several reasons. It showed the combined efforts of many heroes to stop a cosmic threat. It also introduce many people to the Marvel cosmic hierarchy which expanded the idea of what is powerful. Seeing the cosmic beings for the first time and in action was just awesomeness!
Venus Dee if you wouldve actually listened to what he said at the beginning of the video then you wouldve realized infinity gauntlet cant qualify for this list. he said no crossover events.
jeremy roberts, well thats odd he would count it like that because WW Hulk was the same way. It had a main set of books and crossover events linked to it. The Xmen part of WWH was not part of the main 6 books. Infinity Guantlet has 6 main books independant of the crossovers.
For me personally, I feel DC comics have slightly better characters, and definitely better storylines. But Marvel definitely is way better at bringing their characters to the big screen. But just my opinion.
My opinion too haha
Demon in a bottle focuses on real life issues
I gotta give you props for a worthy list. Just personal favorites of mine that didn't make your cut...
Ballad of Beta Ray Bill and the Surtur Saga from Simonson's Thor run
The God Butcher/God Bomb from Aaron's Thor run
Assault on Olympus from Stern's Avengers run, it always seems to get overshadowed because it follows so closely behind Under Siege but it's still and awesome story, and
The Final Threat/Death of Captain Marvel
Great video Arris .My fav Marvel is classic Nick Fury in Nick Fury Vs S.H.I.E.L.D ,As well Spider-Man the birth of Venom saga ,The classic Iron Man Armor Wars story .And what mean by that is , The first Armor Wars story were Iron Man goes rouge to destroy all copied his armor for there own use ,Welcome Back Frank was a great Punisher story .And last on is classic Hulk Future Imperfect were Hulk battles evil old Hulk ,It has such a cool ending to as well .
i love you arris
VariantComics can u make a episode of jean Grey history
Mutant massacre is probably one of the best x men stories ever
Kraven's Last Hunt is definitely my fav Marvel story. One of my favourite issues though is Spider-Man #700
The cree skrull war arc in avengers 89-97 but it's effects are felt until avengers 101ish. John Byrne FF has some good stuff. Especially when Byrne did pencils inks and script. Good list and yes I have some Silver Surfer arcs, the one where dr Doom steals the silver surfers cosmic power. I recommend that one in particular to those who have not or at least for a while, read it. FF volume 1 issues 57-60. 😎 Cheers
I'd say The Vision, and Thor: God Butcher/God Bomb are up there
noobslayer135 God Butcher/Bomb was absolutely amazing.
Other than those I'd say the surtur saga is thor's best
I'm mad Old Man Logan didn't make the list 😟
FiveStarGuy120 I'm not a massive fan of Mark Millar's Old man Logan, don't get me wrong it's good just Millar's ideas are amazing but his writing I don't rate too high. However Jeff Lemire Old Man Logan is bloody remarkable! Highly recommend imagine you'll love it since you like OML so much
it's a crossover
adZinco and world war hulk isn't ?
Comics Champion is Mark miller is a brother of Frank miller
Comics Champion ?
No Kieron Gillen's 2011 "Journey into Mystery" run? I was really expecting it in the list.
I always thought the second run of The Sinister Six was highly underrated
History of Silver Surfer
I would have put Dr. Strange: The Oath, and Old Man Logan on my list. I want to see a Top Ten best ongoing series video!
I watch hear vids for info on what comics to buy and there’s a fine line between synopsis and spoiler
Can you please do a list of most underrated marvel stories because this list contained kind off the most known stories.
1. Original Sin
2. Infinity Trilogy (Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity Wars, Infinity Crusade)
3. War Of The Realms
4. Jason Aaron's Thor Run (includes Original Sin #1-6 and #5.1-5.5 and also is the road to War Of The Realms)
5. Civil War
6. Kraven's Last Hunt
7. Avengers Disassembled{also Thor Disassembled(Ragnarok)}
8. Fear Itself (When I was reading this comic event, I felt few scenes of Avengers: Endgame were inspired by this)
9. Planet Hulk and World War Hulk
10. Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe(although, the ending was a bit confusing for me when I first read it)
Please oh please do a history ofNight Crawler .
Geeky Gamer DoJo yes please
I personally feel that "God Loves, Man Kills" should take the place of "Days of Future Past," as it is a more topical comic. And Matt Fraction's Hawkeye should have at least gotten an honorable mention, if not #10.
i don't have a top 10 and it is very hard to argue with this list, but my favorite marvel story is not here. Age of Apocalypse Was one of the best alternate realities of marvel comics. I loved how each person grew into some thing so different because of the loss of professor X. It showed how much a person impacts every thing in life and with out them things are very different. Also loved that it introduced Blink.
Dude *Old Man Logan* ! Where is Old Man Logan ?! It's not a crossover event, and it's *the best Wolvrine story ever !*
Agree.
I see Aries got that LeBron hair. 😂
I think the age of Apocalypse should've been ranked higher on the list. Great story
My top 10 Marvel stories of all time
1. X-Men The Dark Phoenix Saga
2. Daredevil Born Again
3. Planet Hulk
4. Captain America The Winter Soldier
5. Spider-Man Kraven's Last Hunt
6. Avengers Siege
7. X-Men Days Of Future Past
8. Iron Man Demon In A Bottle
9. Punisher Born
10. Old Man Logan
Ah... back when Miller hadn't completely lost his mind yet
wait what happened to him?
@@ahaan8388 Uh... I dont remember the context of this comment. Am I talking about Frank Miller? I don't remember if he ever wrote for Marvel
@@comlicab2041 OHHH WAIT NO I THOUGHT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT THE TH-camR i think you meant how his newer works are much worse like the dark knight strikes again etc
@@ahaan8388 yeah no Aris is still cool as far as I know lol (I haven't followed the channel in a while)
Daredevil is my favorite superhero
Change my mind
Bara bara Batman daredevil raped elektra.
Did I change your mind?
Awesome list. Do you have one for 2021? Thanks man
I LOVE the flashpoint paradox bro
Im sick of the death of Gwen Stacy story. Can't believe you picked that. She's like the Iris West of the Flash show.
Tullock: Brother at long last I have found you!!!!!
Pikachu2Ash umm what?
So,because you've grown tired of that story it's not good?
They should make a film adaptation of the Marvel Zombies storyline
I just finished reading Days Of Future Past today! It was great
EDIT: no Weapon X?
Ehhh whatever good list
Thank you guys for ur vedios really helpful. Hope I will get to see update on this episode soon. Tc
