This film helped me get interested in wolves as a teen. Lilly is still one of the cutest animated wolves to this day. Was also a big crush in my teen years LOL Her design (white fur, purple eyes) and voiced by Christina Ricci was just the perfect combo

Yeah I recently rewatched it and while it’s not a terrible film (quite passable to be honest) I was genuinely surprised at some of the innuendo they snuck in. Such as the wolf stopping himself from saying “mate”, The scene when Humphrey stares at Kate’s rear end when she’s walking away. The scene when Humphrey checks to see if he still has his genitalia. The scene when Kate wants to watch Humphrey pee. The “can’t howl together” line. The “repopulate” part and Humphrey’s facial reaction The shot of Kate waking up wearing a bra.

I heard this franchise is leaving Lionsgate and having Sony and Paramount buy it. And then, Sony and Paramount confirmed two prequel franchises for Alpha and Omega. Sony is making a Kate spin-off as a PG-13 horror movie in theaters October 15, 2021, and Paramount is making a Humphrey spin-off set in the late 90’s in theaters May 6, 2022.
And no, I never really saw it in theaters. I actually first rented it on dvd from the video store and watched it before I actually bought it. Specially a few months ago, I got it on Blu-ray ^^

I love the original movie, the sequels are good but the original is the best cause it's not just an over 1 hour actual movie but also tells a basic love story and doesn't try to do the biggest and baddest thing unlike some of the sequels.
I remember this trailer playing before Toy Story 3 and both the packed auditorium audience kids and adults utterly laughing their asses off at this trailer It was quite interesting to say the least
