Hi I dry my shells in the oven everytime and I know others who do that to. Preheat at 150C put in the macarons and leave the oven door slightly open with a wooden spoon in between for 2 to 3 min and then close the door when the temperature drops to 120C. Bake for 13 to 15 min. I also do the oven shower which is leaving the door open with the macarons inside for 2 to 3 min and then take them out. It works everytime!
That’s wonderful! I tried the oven shower at the end once and it made my shells very hard and crunchy. I may experiment again with it in the future. Glad to know it worked for you! 😀
