We'll aim to keep them fairly budget, no more than $5 per card on average not including basic lands, but if you want something more high power for your request just let us know.
technically true, switching even 1 card out from a precon makes it a new deck. There's nothing wrong with that though. deck building isn't everyone's favorite aspect of this game so being able to work from a precon and put a small spin on it is easier than starting from scratch. Stop "UPGRADING" Precons and just play with them. An "Upgrated precon" is just a new deck.
