"it's spooky season!" - played against this precon last week and it was really impressive right out of the box. Will definitely dive into it if I pick up (or win 😉) one.
I think suspended sentence is a powerful card because when you suspend it, it holds all opponents hostage, so they will not play creatures until it resolves, then it will slow the game.
Only problem in this deck is, that it only triggers Valgavoth once, the other times it resolves, it does in the own turn and then, while it is still good, does not trigger Valgavoth!

I have three group slug decks one mono red the commander varries depending on what i want to do. A mogus god of slaugter and Erebos god of the dead seriously thinking of breaking them all down and update this deck.
It's Spooky Season. Always love group slug. Makes sure games actually end which has always been an issue for low power games I've played with friends. Love descent into avernus especially with dmg doublers, lol
Its spooky season. I suggest adding Grievous Wounds card so that whenever the enchanted player takes damage they take half their life rounded up, really good for targeted hate
