Man, I’m going through this series again since the last time I did in middle school, I paint houses now and I’m gonna turn 21 soon and this has been such a rich experience revisiting these books. Wanted to make a comment about how the 4th book was such a loaded gun compared to the events of the other books with so many new characters and settings and interactions, it was a lot. Love these books.
Personally i think this book has the best cover in the first series aswell, but total house of hades cover is the best, closely followed by mark of athena and this one
Ah yes “in my day we used animal blood” but Nico bought or stole 4 happy meals and multiple 12 packs of soda to raise the dead this is my favorite thing in the book so far
I adore audio books because even though I want to read the series, I don't have the mental energy due to my ADHD, so having a well done version of these books is so awesome! Thank you for taking the time and energy to make this!

Listening to these audiobooks during my commute to work is so nice. Between work and commuting I spend 13 to 14 hours a day away from home so the audio books are nice

She needs to Google the pronunciations of a lot of words. Dais isn't pronounced die-eez, for example, but that's how she pronounces it. Guessing isn't good enough for audiobooks, it takes you out of the story when you hear a word pronounced wrong

Secondly, constructive criticism and saying "these are some points you could work on" is actually fine, you're just overreacting. Listening to the Calypso chapter knowing about Leo 🥺🥺🥺 'No men find Ogigia twice'. As much as they're relationship is not perfect, they truly found and saved each other.
This book means everything to me. I've read it when I got it on my 15th birthday long ago, along with the other Percy Jackson books in the series. This is one of my favorites and one that brings back good memories for me as a teenager. Mr. D might annoy me at times, but the god of wine has my respect and sympathy for his son Castor, who went down fighting a hero's death in the Battle of the Labyrinth. And I really do like Daedalus and Mrs. O'Leary. Some of my favorite fights exist in this book, and I've got to enjoy the story again like I had in years.

Not sure it counts towards a reading log, since part of the purpose of those is to get better at reading itself, but a great book choice! If you need another audiobook to listen to Agro Squerril did The Princess of Mars, the book that the movie John Carter is based off of, I highly suggest it!! Also check out the rest of his stuff, top notch! 🤌 I forget the channel name but there's a channel that went through the Harry potter series recently. We get the modern pronunciation from Shakespeare because he needed an extra syllable for his rhymes to work. Same goes for Circe, kir-ke; and Caesar being Kie-zer, like pronouncing Kaiser Willhelm. It’s actually where the title comes from, as does Tzar for Russia. It all has to do with the Holy Roman Empire.

I've been listening to these audiobooks for the last year and a half (every now and then I miss these stories so much) and this channel has THE BEST PJ audiobooks. However, I must point out that my ADHD brain can't hear without subtitles and this is the only video without them (and is the one that I have to listen to the chapters again and again 'cause I'll be, like, two chapters ahead and forgotten how we got there).
