- Labrum Recovery - Update! We're a handful of weeks out from his surgery. His recovery is going well and therapy is underway! His shoulder dislocation has definitely set us on a course we weren't expecting. All will be well! What are your secrets to a speedy recovery with anything you've gone through?
Come join our active family of 7 on all of our adventures! Mom, Dad, Scottie 17, Savana 15, Luke 13, Lincoln 9, Brooklyn 6, and our angel baby Colten who turned 10 in February. We may not have it all together, but at least we're in it together!

Watching Scottie talk to his mom reminds me of when i was in High School and wanted my parents to know as little as possible about what i was up to.

Glad Lincoln is doing so well in school now.. Some kids with special needs do better in regular classroom especially if they are used to play with kids that don’t have special needs.. that is my own experience... Having Hydrocephalus myself and the problems that come with it I was always in a regular classroom with kids born the same year as me and lived in the neighborhood... My parents refused to put me in special needs classroom!
I’m seeing that play out with Lincoln for sure. I’ve loved seeing him in this element!

Thank you 🙏🏽 yes, school can be way hard, she’s doing well now. I think the biggest thing is conflict of personalities with one of her specialty teachers.

Hope Lincoln is doing well, next it was Luke, and then Scottie, did these two have a competition to see who can punch the wall hard, I know Brooklyn is a perfectionist,, she is an inspiration for the rest of the kids,teachers,and for you guys, she is very bright, I wonder if she gets bored at school, knowing she is above the class in reading 👌👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
It never ends around here 😆 you could very well be right! Brooklyn is beyond her years in some ways.
Both Brooklyn &.Lincoln have high IQs, I still thinking about the answer he gave as to he has a dissability, and that candy will cure / help him, of course you have Luke,Scottie, and Savanah, while Luke & Scottie excell in sports, Savanah also excells, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

Glad Scottie is doing good... Like you say Megan, if it isn't one, it's the other one.. Kids.. who'd have them? As for those photographs.. I'd scan them, photoshop his new hair on them and then give them back... or just take new ones.

I had shoulder surgery twice same arm. No fun, hated the sling. When you talked about Luke's haircut I thought he did something goofy but just a bad hair day. lol Need to cure the scratching problem before you get new stools unless new stools aren't upholstered. Based on the date of the post Scottie must be pretty much done with physical therapy.
He’s very close to being done! And he’s doing great! We have a follow up with his surgeon on Wednesday. As far as the stools, won’t be replacing them until I find a cat tree or something for her!

I cheered for the success of the treatment. It's healing well. What is the food that you're cooking? It's my first time eating foreign food. I wonder how delicious it is. How long can I eat foreign food?
Thank you for your warm thoughts! Savana was making crepes. It’s actually a French food. Fairly simple and few ingredients like eggs, milk, flour and salt.

What’s an easy way to get over the fact of getting put to sleep? I’m getting surgery tomorrow and a bit scared of getting put to sleep
Well... I think it’s natural to have nerves! Just be optimistic and believe everything will be ok. I think that’s the best you can do!

You can do it! Scottie worked real hard to be ready for baseball season.... then COVID happened ☹️
