- I apologize for the delay on dishing out eppy tres of the Kansass Toor.. But I don't apologize that much, because I've been scratching the ice fishing itch while this mini first ice season was around.
We have new new editions this go around.. Johnny boy, and Nathan just happened to be down south when I was, and my buddy Mark joined us later in the night. One last shot at a giant! PAAA POWWW!!!

The recent cold snap put quite the snapfooey on fishing. Total stop!
Just to come out of it and find my favorite fishing hole is totally froze over. Pretty extreme considering this is off of one of the Great Lakes!

Next time try the east end of that dock for blues. Throw towards the bridge. And usually there’s a school of crappie right off that northeast corner.
Those gills and crappies were perfect eater size. Shoulda kept a few for fish tacos for dinner. Woulda been delicious.

@@TheJaymon1962 It is the head of a butchered hog. Boiled with vegetables of your liking. Minus the ears which are fried. Also you can boil the head and make head cheese.

@@J_D_B4379 You can also make fish head stew/soup. Boil a nice Flathead catfish head. With spices like lemon grass. Used to be a Vietnamese lady around Truman lake that made it perfect.

Hey Josh , quick question? Is that a hookless Zahra Spook in Fire Tiger pattern tied to your line and if so why? Is it for sight and sound?
It's a catfish rattle. It is for sight and sound. It's just another thing to help attract a fish to the bait.
They float the bait off the bottom and rattle to attract cats to the bait
Change to a slip bobber! Do less work that way.

I stopped fishing a leader. Turns out crappie don't care about line how I thought. I'm catching the same if not more crappie no leader just straight crappie braid or line. Red yellow chartreuse black and white all haven't affected my fishing to be honest
