The cool thing about the comming update about Sarad books is that they´re *finally* changing the skill book set effects. I was always ranting about how useless movement and attack speed are for warriors in PvE, since no matter how fast you do most warrior skills tend to be slower or have lower dps than other classes (including other fighters). The solution was clear all this frigging time and finally Webzen decided to do the right changes into base stats increase and critical damage.
This will make the Sarad skillbook set *way more superior and versatile* than the Raebin one, as the latter actually needs the set effect 6 to be worth something (Though I personally wish you could combine some of its books with sarad).
Moreover, *I´m glad they´re making improved grab worth something now*. So far It´s been almost useless except for air driver, that´s it.
Yeah, I like the Presskick one and Charge Break. I suggested that they allow us to have a 7th skillbook slot, to use the effect of the book from a different set, but not contributing to the whole star system. Sadly, no response for now, not sure if they will ever do it.
WilkyWay They should add more skillbooks for 6th continent, like Sarad has several you can choose / switch to. Please suggest them to give us temporary perfect skillbook sets for like 7 days to fully test them and give our opinions :DDDDD

The Sarad one has a 50% bonus attack at rank 6. The first bonus grants 10% flat. They aren't that bad, though they are nowhere near as good as Guardians imho.
Sarad books seem to look better to me... Is it possible to buy or sell books?

Well ye, the damage is quite good, not sure how the scaling works there.
I hope for warrior update to come ASAP, one can only dream. Been waiting for this class to be revived and it's finally happening. Also, I've noticed that you use buckler, so do I. It's funny how only one skill uses damage from shield slot even the charge break uses sword damage.
Well, I 'use' a buckler, because I classchanged from BM to Warrior. Eventually, I might switch to shield, though I don't know if that's making any difference or what the benefits are.

Guard, that's about it. In PvE buckler works for PvP, I don't block much so I use the buckler as well. I tested every skill to see which one needs shield and only the charge uses..except drop kick, I got no idea about that. On the charge one hit comes from sword, second from shield and they alter. Not worth sacrificing move/attack speed, imo.
I guess ye, I'm not used to blocking anyway.
WilkyWay You really dont need blocking much, but shield is a better option as *it does* affect charge attack & charge break damage (and since you got the book...). You do loose 3% move speed but you get used to it..

When I tried charge break with shield off all hits were there. Normally if the shield is not equipped those numbers go as a miss.
Shame you can't freely combine books from different sets. I'd love to have that charge break but apart from that the sarad books look better.
I'd say - screw set effects and get 6 action skillbooks.

antinotice The thing is, their damage alone won´t suffice in pve and while they are on cooldown I would prefer boosting my stats with the skillbook set effects (as that increase damages for all other skills).
Plus you should always keep at least 2 buff skillbooks such as Press Kick I + Air Driver for 5th cont (+STR & +Elemental DMG) or Press Kick I + Charge Attack (-Target PHY DEF & +STR) for 6th one.
WilkyWay what you say is true, the set effect 6 for sarad bookset has "low chances" but warriors will frequently spam press kick 1 to get the STR buff and if that didn´t trigger it they can spam backstep thrust every 3 seconds and *boom* you get the 50% attack bonus :D
The thing with warriors (like i mentioned) is that most skills deal few hits and tend to be slow sometimes causing DPS in PvE to become inferior if compared to other classes (including other fighters). If the bookset is meant to trully help us (even if we dont get the sweetest books available) then its set effects need to increase all offensive stats as high as possible... which is comming.
I'd say *Sarad Set will become far more versatile than Raebin* as *with only a IV set effect* you get phy dmg, fury, crit dmg & base stats *while the latter provides* crit dmg, fury, defense, phy dmg (seismic bash) and truly needs set VI to become *effective*
Yeah, the only thing I'd like to take over is press kick from Raebin, but we can't have everything! And, balance is off for way too long already, I don't think they are trying to "balance" things here, just to make Warrior more appealing to people.
