My main issue is them skiiping full parts like lucy v Minerva, avatar, etc.
game only goes to tartaros but they are gonna do avatar, final season, and 100 year quest as dlc. which sucks, and having 180 dollars worth of dlc already.
hated the skipped over of parts as well, it made grand magics games have way less impact.
Tecmo is gonna milk your money with 90% meaningless dlc costumes 10% extra story

That is not a typo. カンナ (Ka n na / か ん な) is how you spell her name in Japanese. The literal spelling is 100% correct. I speak Japanese and can translate myself. The issue is with the English Subs. In Japanese her name is Kanna (かんな).
I think one of the other reasons they chose this specific point is to save money. That way they only needed to focus on everyones post timeskip designs and models and not have two sets of models for any characters not on the island
Still, for everyone who was on Tenrojima, they can use those models if they decide to make a game based on the beginning all the way to the Tenrojima arc. Basically, a prequel to this game.
Or make more money by splitting it all up in 4 different games.
They f-upped by creating a turn based game for battle heavy anime. Fighting is the best part of faitytail if i wanna watch them fight ill watch the anime. This isnt the 90's we dont want no turn based boring stuff....
Word of advice; talk about the gameplay and the pros/cons before getting to your own personal irks if you're labeling it as a "try before you buy"
i wish we have sherry, hibik, jenny and jura as playable characters, and more outfits for all the characters, like the tartaros one and the final season ones IN the game
but I love the game
Im happy i got the game but i wish the map had more life in it and more buildings to go into and i wish Gary had his jacket outfit im not done the game so idk if you can get that i also wish like you said the quest where better also why are all the enemies that are not a character grimoire heart members idk if i spelled that right
he doesn't get the outfit. think it might be a dlc outfit later on. they are doing the final arc and 100 year quest as dlc. so hopefully the quests get better.

This game is great for a budget game. I get it why it started on this arc due to games were already made on other ports and wasn't translated to English. A ton of jrpgs that are great that never are translated due to mainly western prefer fps and sports games. It is a rare game as well because they knew it would not sell well if mass produced.
Is there a physical copy release in the US???

Fairy Tail should just be a tournament fighter like Burning Blood or the Budokai games. It was also be cool if they add a dub option.

Anime games tend to adapt the most recent arcs. Unless they're attempting to retell the entire story, like what CC2 games usually do.

In my opinion- I didn’t mind Japanese VA at all. The battle system was good and the moves/transformations where well done. Okay so now that I’ve cleared that up let
me start by saying the game is absolute dogshit. The quests were bland as fuck and were virtually the SAME thing over and over again. The story kicked off from when acnologia destroys tenrou island and fairy tail have a seven year lunch break. The ending is with mard gear... like are you saving the most important part of the final chapter with zeref and acnologia battle for a DLC? To top that off. They made 3 dragons in 3D and the others in a fucking icon like half the other character. Felt half done and lazy. The magic games had no real feeling to it, Just felt bland and pointless.
If this was a dbz game. Think this: they started the game at planet namek and ended the game with vegito defeating super buu. They left the begging and fucking end out of it! Now obviously they assumed you watched the entire fairy tail series before purchasing this game as I have. But that just makes it even more fucking disappointing as opposed to someone who haven't seen it and played this would be straight fucking confused and thinking they have dementia. If you think different good for you 👏🏻

did you see gameranx post there before you buy for fairy tail. NO. and did you not hear the opening line, since gameranx isn't doing it someones gotta. I even tweeted Jake and gameranx asking if it was ok. this is a one time thing for me and people honestly should have a before you buy for this game.
@@Drago21 The issue is when you copy someone's template for the title and thumbnail, people will expect A) That it's them and B) that the video has the same quality as their other stuff, you failed to fulfill the expectations you set out by copying the template of a well established, higher quality channel.

you mean those copy-pasted generic 3d arena fighters? Nah. if executed properly, maybe it can work but judging by the history of all the anime brawler games that came out to date, most of them are just literally cash grabs. An action-oriented rpg should do the trick.
I think a arena brawler would be cool because there are so many cool characters but a turn based RPG is much better imo.

I'm kinda of the opposite opinion. I wish all the arena brawler games (Naruto, boku no hero academia, dragon ball) were open world rpgs. 😊😂
