build: full berserker's + fireworks with dragon pants and back (optional for a very marginal gain) snowcrows.com/builds/raids/en... (take impact over serpent slaying, I had it on by accident from fractals -- it makes no difference on the golem)
food/util: cilantro lime sous-vide steak, superior sharpening stone
rotation ideas:
- corona burst to enter and exit forge
- one photon blitz in forge
- 3 sw2 above 100 heat before re-entering forge
- combine photon wall and grenade barrage (summon wall, barrage, launch wall) off cooldown
- particle accelerator and blade burst off cooldown (in a real fight save blade burst for inside hitbox with adds around)
- alternate between 2x p4 and 1x p4 loops, on double p4 loops first skill after exit forge is pistol 4 instead of sw2
- sw3/p5 as necessary to replace auto chains, p5 refreshes fireworks
- static shock while entering forge when necessary to refresh fireworks, entering forge does not interrupt this skill
notes:
- the forge 4 before PLB in the opener was accidental this pull, usually forge 4 after to avoid canceling any hits of forge 4 with PLB.
- the sequence before last forge was fully improvised here, I didn't even know that entering forge doesn't interrupt launch wall, but the cooldowns and timing lined up well

The benchmark is slightly inflated because of the immob, so youre closer than you think.

How do you cancel the aftercast of sw2 and p4 when switching to grenade kit? Cant get hang of it, its all green in my logs and makes my every loop consist of two p4
you don't have to "cancel" an aftercast of either of those two skills -- you can press your button to enter grenade kit as soon as you start either sw2 or p4; you can even queue up a grenade skill as one of the aforementioned skills start casting. just make sure you don't over-queue and lose sw2/p4 when you do this.

yes, it seems like you would experience a marginal loss from running DH runes -- however, don't take the dragon's pieces if you do that (run full berserker instead)

is the dps difference between scholar and dragonhunter runes big? also running full berserker
The statcalc on the sc website shows 10% too high critdamage, probably a typo. exactly same setup I get 235,4 and website says 245,4
There's something seriously wrong with my rotation and i can't figure it out. I haven't gotten past 36k and 110s kill time

Still wish I could manage hitting all those buttons T_T if profession skills didnt exist, i would totally play this class, but since i cant hit for those shit (no matter how many times I rebind and try to come up with alternatives) I am just trolling by even trying.
I used to struggle with the same issue, but my solution was to bind the profession skills as Alt + 1-5, so they were basically the same as my weapon skills but if I needed profession skills, just to hold alt and press the same buttons, if that makes sense

Having two more buttons on your mouse could help for that. There's also the old hammer build on Holosmith that is still working well and is clearly less difficult to play as you're going for the overheat.
I wish there were more benchmarks without music. I wanna hear what the class sounds like. The power reaper benchmark is so juicy cause I get to hear what it would sound like if I played it

Can you estimate how much DPS you're losing with hammer?
I have not tried hammer pbm this patch, so I'm not sure -- it's possible that hammer ECSU is viable now too. I'll try it out and get back to you.
