Carlo and Sarah, best wishes for your life together...I can see myself in your story, just many years back, I came to the US from Milano Italy in 1998...I know the long adventure of immigration, visas, work permits, green cards, citizenship...really long journey but you will make it just fine!!! When I came to New York I had only $2000 in my pocket and that's it...my savings after I left the Carabinieri in Italy...I eventually met my wife in New York City and after few years we got married in Italy...and then in Brooklyn NY (where we lived for 12 years prior to move to the southeast) and yes...if I would have the chance to go back in time....I will do it all again exactly the same!!! Life is beautiful enjoy it!
