Good video , thanks for sharing , I also take landscape videos in UK and sometimes abroad, so it's very helpful amazing I subscribed to the channel, so I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for the good video
Yes, Gisselle in Egypt I felt if I was a celebrity.... hahahha..... some people want to take a photo .... also greetings if you are a celebrity.... hahahah.... love that... at least I am feeling that in Egypt.
Similar situation in India. And I don't mind, if it makes them happy, but at some point I have to be like "i gotta go..." or others will want individual photos
it's crazy how nice people seem to be even tho you are a female, how often do the play the prayers?, also, what app are you using to check the conversion in your "grocery store" video?
Haha, yeah man people are so friendly here, the men and the women, old and young! The call to prayer goes off 5 times a day, but on Fridays (their day of rest) it goes off more, I think. Or maybe it just seems like it does on Fridays, because the streets are quieter then so I notice it more, I'm not sure 😅 I use XE app for converting (it's the best!) 😁
@@shimarasingh8824 I love Ramadan in Egypt! It's a lot of fun at night, so lively. I don't think the hours of operation change for ancient sites, because it's a source of money for the country. There's a slight possibility of it I suppose, but I really don't think so. I'm going to have to find out, I plan on making videos about Ramadan soon, just working on a few others before I start the Ramadan videos
@@shimarasingh8824 I think all the operating hours of ancient sites remains the same all over the country, but again I can't be 100% sure. I live in Cairo so the videos I will be filming will be here, but Ramadan is Ramadan everywhere 😅 Don't be worried, the conflict is not affecting the safety here at all, it's normal Egypt like is was before any conflict erupted. The scams can be an issue, but if you just ignore a lot of people trying to sell you things or get you into their shops you'll be fine. Or go shopping and barter! It's actually a lot of fun, in my opinion. Just ask many shops the cost of things and negotiate a price lower with each shop before buying anything, after 3-4 shops you will start to understand how much you should pay for something after they begin to lower the price. They will tell you things like "I'm just opening my day, or I haven't sold anything, or I will give you Egyptian price, or (maybe) they will tell you my family is hungry. Don't listen to those lines and just barter at a few shops, don't be pressured into buying anything or doing anything you don't want, and you'll be fine. Egyptians are friendly, funny, and kind, but the street vendors can be aggressive, it's their job and they are good at it, so just ignore them if you aren't buying and can't handle interacting with them. Enjoy Egypt!
Not many, but you should be able to find a few, as Egypt knows tourists come to Egypt, and although the majority of the population is Muslim there are also Christians here. At night things really get busy though
@@Gventures thank you! We are thinking to travel to Egypt over Easter break (I teach) my husband has family there. We were in Sudan last year during Ramadan as it was quite the experience-I bet Egypt will be quite an experience too!

Hi such informative videos. Do the museums and Pyramids times change during ramadaan?
Thanks! As far as I am aware, the sites operate under the same hours as they normally do.
Thank u so much . Planning trip next month during Ramadan. Was just wondering if it was different

That would apply for Luxor as well? Watching all of your videos, feeling abit anxious to go with all the conflict and scams but also so excited
