You’re a good brother Ryan. I love to see family helping each other out. It was interesting hearing of the difficulties in renting in France, unfortunately it’s similar in many places. Thanks for another wonderful daily vlog!
This is why I love your channel Ryan, its so diverse. Just when you think you have seen all you have to offer, you throw another diverse topic into the mix. Ready enjoyed this video 👍👍
Ryan, learning little bit by little bit about living in France through your conversational videos is fun! Keep up the eclectic content and thanks for the “education “! 😊
I agree with your brother about these changes. I hope they won't keep doing those pedestrian-unfriendly commercial zones. They're so ugly. It reminds me of what I left behind in the US, which is endless amounts of that kind of stuff.
I think it is fantastic to hear from your brother - that I did not know you had. Congratulations. How many other children in your family? Bet they don't have the big beautiful smile you do. Keep smiling Ryan 😊😊
Hi rupertmiller! Just call them! Sorry to make it more simplistic than you might feel it is, but I feel very happily and strongly not to let others’ behaviours dictate how you behave. Let go reacting to them, just you set out and initiate!! It may lead to nothing…or something. Whatever way it may go, you have decided YOUR behaviour. Go for it, and feel good about your own proactive, reaching out behaviour/philosophy!! Love to hear how this goes -it can only increase your own good feeling about yourself.cheers and best wishes!

I remember spring in France very well. The glorious sunny days. I like the daily vlog idea as it shows your daily life, from change of plans to what is happening, remodeling your home. You and Nick, Billy, and his family. I also watch Seans channel as well. They all remind me of my 2 years there inthe U S Army, married to a French Damsel, visiting her extended family. Oh yes, the memories. Thank you and thanks to the other channels for all you do.😊
Beautiful chest! Didn't know you have a brother. Yes, his home is beautiful. It was most interesting to hear your brother's thought about France. All the best Ryan.
You are just full of surprises Ryan. You brother sounds very nice even if he is camera shy. Hope he shares advice about that inexpensive heating option for your new home. See you tomorrow.
Oh I love your brother! Don't need to see him to know he is a good guy. You are both lucky to have each other! Thanks so much for sharing your opinions and knowledge. Best wishes from Toronto 🇨🇦😊👍
Thanks Ryan and your brother's info on France. Also really enjoying you and Mike's videos. Hopefully you gain some experience that you can apply to your remodel. 👍
Very nice place that your brother has. So sad that we can't see his face. But I respect his privacy. He has a very sophisticated voice. See you Tomorrow bro
I absolutely agree with your brother Ryan re our country’s changing and not for the better. And this is no accident.. America is a mess too. I suspect there are many people in “Witness Protection” these days, so thank you sir for your contribution towards freedom. “Development” at the expense of ugly is not a good trade off. We may ask whom pushes “progressive” policies at the expense of planetary quality of life. Thanks Ryan and brother! Take care and stay safe, lunatics on the loose everywhere.

That's all right, Ryan, we all understand that your brother would not want to be associated with you. LOL 😆 🤣 😂. That was very nice of you to help your brother out, lovely old dresser. I love the hidden bottom drawer.
Good for you, Ryan helping your bro! Thanks for the giggle! Trying to buy a lovely piece of land and a pond. My friend died leaving it to his family. They don't want it! So sad, he loved it! I think I am being "cut out" of the deal! So your vlog was appreciated!
I'm really enjoying the Daily Blogs, Ryan. Glad you had a little detour to your brother's lovely home and helped him out. A nice break for you as well. Take care. 😊
Always interesting to know how people live in other countries. The rental market in Australia is also very competitive and rent is expensive. Country town house prices are skyrocketing as people come from the city to live the country lifestyle and housing is scarce. Thank you Ryan for introducing your brother and giving us another interesting video.👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
Love this video! It's cool to see a family that helps each other. Also, your brother's perspective of France and Europe was super interesting. Lovely background too.
I am enjoying your daily videos. The variety has been really successful for me ….enjoyed listening to the views of your brother The daily life content just works.
Really cool, Ryan. Interesting to learn more about cost of living in France. And basically to be able to compare to other European countries. Still France is cheaper to live in than the Netherlands when it comes to renting a house. Good also to point out the importance of sustainable heating and building. Retaining cultural heritage but upgrading it to modern standard is the way to keep it for decades to come! ❤
This was fun, nice “meeting your brother” glad he is close by now. I like the piece of furniture too. Interesting learning a bit more about what it’s like to live in France🌝
It is good to know that family still helps each other these days. Todays world is so self centered and changing more each day and not all the change is good either. Have a great day
@@catherinefromchristchurchn6508 I know about that on a personal level because my family is so dysfunctional. You have a wonderful day and make the future brighter for the family you have yet to create.
I knew about your brother all I knew is that he lived outside the country and glad now he lives in France. Nice and modern place he sounds a lot like you Ryan even older. Maybe some day he will show himself so we can meet him proper if not well lovely to sort of meet but if he doesn't that's totally cool. He could always invest in your venture and you two live in your new home together if you get along that is. I hope he finds a more permanent place if he is looking to buy his own. Nice dresser excellent taste then :) sure your parents are chuffed to have him back :) as much as you are. High streets are dying breed in UK so many derelict homes just pasted over if you watch 'Wandering Turnip" Ryan will be an eye opener. Maybe you could do a series like this in France Ryan ;) David who runs that channel has actually been to France recently looking at properties. Thanks for the visit :)
It can be difficult to find rentals here in the U.S. too. Most places require three times the rent in income here also. I suspect the list of requirements increased after COVID.
I like your brother's house. The modernity of it is a fun change, even though the older style is what I would opt for if I lived in France! Thank you for the video!
What a lovely piece of furniture. In Canada even small towns the rents for a house would be more than triple the cost. A one bedroom apt is over $1000. Plus
Loving the daily vlogs Ryan. It was also good to hear your brother AND to know that you actually had a brother lol. Do the people know that you have an Uncle Michael in Australia? Yes me the self appointed family member hahahaha My son lives in Canada and I miss him so I 'adopt' lots of nephews and nieces that i admire and support. Keep up the great work 'nephew'!!

Really enjoyed listening to your brother Ryan, would love to hear more of his views. He sounds very intelligent and grounded, I’m guessing he has a good overview of global issues given he has travelled and lived in other countries. Does he have a YT site or other social media.
As a lifelong carpenter, (retired) I agree about the new architecture. When I. M. Pei designed the glass pyramid in front of the Louvre, the new area beyond the Eifel Tower, I thought what is happening to that beautyful city? Thankfully, they will keep Notre Dame original architecture style while utilizing safety and structural modern materials. Also, when i was stationed there in mid 60s, there was a new style home....Isle de France, I think, with the garage and utilities under the rez de chaussure, which saved more land for yards, as opposed to the old farm longere style. 80 y/o now, trying to remember correctly. Loved the "chat" with your big brother.
I've fallen in love with Michael's Aga cooker! Have you considered getting one for your house, Ryan? It sounds so efficient, but I don't know where you'd store your coal briquettes. Where I live is all electric and it's really inefficient and expensive.
It's funny what you said about England, Ryan. Watching the TV shows from the UK in the USA, it seems that every one lives in a house with 8 bedrooms and 100 acres of formal gardens and hired help.
Love that your Brother is as mysterious as your Lovely Mum! Nice to meet him. Great for you and the Family to have him back! Ryan never change your a wonderful human with a beautiful soul.
Excellent discussion Ryan with your brother! I can understand how you would see improved infrastructure in France as showing how France is improving overall. That being said, however, I can fully understand how the culture of France (and Western Europe in general) appears to disappearing in the wake of modernity.

Hi Ryan I do agree with a lot of things your brother has said. Living in France for 8years now retired. We both worked in the health service 12hour shifts to pay the bills half hour lunch break of we were lucky. Yes tax are higher but education is great, health service and roads. Like yourself we bought a cheaper property to do up slowly but we will get there. Because as you state there is so much to see and we can travel by car to other countries. Also I now have time to watch your vlogs which are great.
