Yes Wayne, it's an excellent quality budget action cam. I enjoy my Apeman A87 every time I use it for video, pics and time lapse and slo-mo. It's a fantastic entry level action cam that new users can learn and experiment with in their adventures.

The Apeman A87 camera does not have an input for an external microphone. In my review I recorded audio on a separate digital recorder, a Zoom H1A. Available from Amazon: amzn.to/3CeQi6D
I'd say the A87 and the A100 are both pretty competent when it comes to the quality of the video, but I think I'd give the edge to the A100 because it has slightly better build quality with features like a hinged battery door cover, a dust cover over the USB and HDMI ports, and a front facing LED to let you know the camera is recording while shooting a selfie.
I'd choose the Victure AC920 which shoots really nice quality video, but most importantly it comes with an external plug-in microphone allowing you to record better audio. Check out my review here: th-cam.com/video/ESvXLJuDOYM/w-d-xo.html
@@ASMRFANCLUB477 it almost sounds like it’s set to the ‘Looping Mode” which records a segment, stops, then begins recording again… however that function can only be set to 1, 3, or 5 minutes… not 8.
True, most of these low-end action cameras use 'electronic' image stabilization which actually crops the image and can degrade the video quality somewhat.. Certainly they are no match for a true 'optical' image stabilization system often found on higher priced cameras/lenses.

GoPro Media Mod is only compatible with GoPro cameras.

Not sure where you are located, but the scenery reminds me of Fahnestalk state park in New York
Most of those scenes were recorded in northern Ontario, Canada.
