I'm glad you guys were able to see this. In all honesty though, while I really enjoy Naruto, it's pretty funny when you realize that not only do a lot of the craziest looking attacks here not result in one hit kills like they definitely should, but the massive explosions leave the ground completely untouched.

So something that’s really cool about Naruto is the diversity and creativity of techniques and skillsets each character uses in both the games and anime. Like how Garra is able to conjure sand at will and bend it in any shape or size. His sand even acts on it’s own to protect him. Then there other characters like Kimimaru which are able to literally use their own bones as weapons; for example pulling his spine out and using it as a whip or shooting bone fragments from his finger tips as bullets. There’s characters with ocular abilities like Sasuke and his brother Itachi, able to put someone in an illusion called genjutsu or set them a blaze in exchange for damage on their eyesight, hence the eye bleeding. There are so many different abilities to be explored in the world of Naruto. The ultimates are definitely flashy and even jarring at times but the anime itself really illustrates this well. Kishimoto was and is a genius when it comes to creating fights in this series. There are a few fights to watch that show a lot of these techniques like Sasuke vs Itachi, Garra vs Kimimaru, Madara vs the entire shinobi alliance, 3rd Hokage vs Orochimaru, etc.
Naruto is the main character as you know The “older brother” is Naruto’s father (Minato) The red haired woman was his mom (Kushina) The little guy was Naruto’s son (Boruto) The “dark goth guy” is Naruto’s best friend/ teammate/brother (Sasuke)
These games are awesome! The Devs really went all out on the ultimates, they created many of them from scratch with techniques that weren't used to their full potential in the show and get really creative with some of them; like the team one with all the Akatsuki (big group with red/black robes) assembled together, we never saw that in the anime/manga but it looks incredible in-game.
Normally I'd do my usual explanation on the series and try to help you out. but there is seriously NO WAY I could do it without it being a 8 page summary lol It's one of those series where you HAD to see it from the start of the show all the way through to understand it. I was surprised you guys picked this game. but happy to see you guys explore more. keep up the great work :)

But with Naruto it is heavenly driven story (Not all of it makes sense.) but ill say this much, if not for this series; I prob would have ever worked so hard for my friends and/or any bonds that I have. This show really drives the word "Bond" to mean something. And that hard work can pay off no matter how weak people think you are. I'd say give it a shot but good luck watching 20 years of episodes lol
I haven’t watched Naruto for 5 years, but I still tear up when he is with his paerents throwing that rasengan. Naruto has such a sad, yet delightful and motivating story. It takes a year or two to watch the whole series, and Boruto is still airing. It’s a bit silly at the begining, but as Naruto grows so as the story. It involves 5 generations of characters and a continental, later planetary conflict. Over the seasons some politics and romance comes in. And there are jokes so hugely streched out, ther was one that played out after 10 years (the harem jutsu is one of those). Like the recycle trash bins scene in The Office. And the more you know about the story the more it seems like a science fiction, rather than fantasy. With one simple element -chakra- brought into the world. And what the story evolves into in the last two seasons is fantastic. I have a hard drive with every episodes and movies of Naruto so I can watch it again when I will have kids. The story and characters are so great, it forges you to be a better human. I could not enjoy Game of Thronse, simply becaus Naruto is much much better. It has tragedy, but it is wholesome. Like The Hobbit or LotR with more politics and romance. There are a lot of filler episodes, that sail away from the main story. But these are like the poems and sight explanations that Tolkien wrote. They expand the world, and you want to watch them. Compared to GoT: Okay, now where is the capter about John Snow? And: Oh Boromir died, now why should I watch the series?
The Ultimate Ninja Storm games are so great, they actually follow the story of the anime fairly closely too. Also those ultimates are excessively destructive and that's what makes them so cool.
This game is ironically really fun in terms of gameplay. I’ve never even come close to finishing Naruto (currently watching it) but this game is always a blast to come to (also the giant peanut is called a gourd 😂 it’s a type of cup or bottle and it holds Gaara’s sand)

All of the cool “Tailed beast” ultimate you guys were seeing are all ninjas known as “jinchuriki” they all have the animals sealed within them and they give them alot of bonus power ✌🏼
Spoilers: The tailed beasts are mythical creatures of immense power that generally hate humans, because humans have found ways to trap these beasts inside other humans so that their power can be used by the person who the tailed beast is sealed within. Most commonly they are sealed within a child, sometimes at birth. Gaara (the sand guy) is such a case, the 1 tailed beast was taken out of his mother and sealed within him, but no one can survive when a tailed beast is taken out of them. As a child he was scorned by everyone because they fear the monster within him, to the point that his own father sent assassins to kill him. The sand protected him and in his rage he killed all of them. From then on his philosophy became that the world is a wonderful place as long as there are people to kill. Also the mascara around his eyes hides the dark bags, because he cant sleep in fear of the monster inside taking control. he does get a good redemption arc later, but when we first meet him he very much commands fear.

The Naruto ninja Storm games are so good that masashi kishimoto (the manga author) considers it the definitive way to experience the complete story. The Legacy collection is inexpensive and has all 4 games, and it gets Hype and Emotional. The Ninja world of Naruto is a deep and rich with lore and symbolism. Messages of the pain of war and prejudice, breaking negative cycles of hatred, finding ones own "ninja way", and even redemption and unity which lead into hope for new generations by passing on "The Will of Fire" amongst many other things. It one of the most influential franchises in my life.
These games always look so good! Having grown up with Naruto, it was so much fun seeing variety in character stories and ninja arts. My favorite fight scene would probably be Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori. I think it set the stage for how much could go into these battles🥹
The Hyuga fighting style of Gentle Fist allows that to block chakra points. Without chakra points, the enemy can use their chakra, which is necessary for jutsu, increasing physical capabilities in a fight, etc. Each palm is them hitting a chakra point, slowly getting faster and faster. Those with other forms of chakra, like Sage Mode or a tailed beast, like Naruto, are the few exceptions that can still fight properly after getting hut by all 64. Also a quick note, both normal harem and reverse harem jutsu don't use any clothes, and the "assets" (lol) are just covered by smoke in the show, but they needed at least a towl/bikini for the game due to some annoying complaints from people who often don't even play the games or watch the show.
Gaara, the guy with the giant peanut on his back, has one of the best character developments in the entire show. Like Naruto, as a baby, he was given the burden of being a vessel of one of the tailed beasts, which is where his sand powers come from, and the reason why he was feared and hated by most people in his village. Unlike Naruto, instead of wanting to become a famous and revered person that everybody respects, he became cold and bitter. He became just a weapon to be used against his nation's enemies. After having met and fought Naruto in a battle to the death, and being spared, he started to change. Naruto knew his pain, and related to him in every way, but he showed him that there was another way to live. In the sequel to Naruto, he became the Kazekage, the title given to the leader of the Village Hidden by Sand. Just like Naruto did, he later befriended the beast sealed inside him and they became friends. In the sequel to that, the spinoff series about Naruto's son, he's still the Kazekage, but became an adoptive father to a child who almost walked the same path he did. He journeyed a long way, and is probably one of my favorite characters in the show. But that sand--awful stuff. Gets everywhere.
I also love how much he and Naruto respect/are proud of each other. Naruto comes back and learns that he became the Kazekage and is instantly "Fuck yeah! I knew my boi could do it! I need to catch up."

I really love the Naruto series. It has much to offer emotionally and it is very dope. The death battles will give you a good summary of the story and characters. They also explain the abilities well so try those. I do recommend fights from the show Naruto vs sasuke part one. I know it’s a rocky road with strikes and other issues reacting to anime. Enjoying the variety of content.
For me Naruto is in the top 10 anime. It could be in the top 5 if there is less remembering to the same thing over and over again. But the fights and the story are amazing.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I'd recommend watching the Rock Lee vs Gaara fight from this show. It's one of the deepest fights in the series and it happens pretty early. Very emotional, and inspiring to boot. It cemented Rock Lee as one of the best characters in the series.
Naruto is a very beloved series that was part of the Big 3. The Big 3 being the most popular Shonen manga series (Shonen meaning "Young Boy" cuz that's the target audience) with the longest chapter counts (meaning over hundreds of volumes). Alongside One Piece and Bleach. This particular game series, the Ninja Storm series, is one of the most popular Naruto games and each one always adds more characters from the series to please fans. I'm not the biggest Naruto fan, but I do love some of the stuff that has come out of it and always have fond memories of it. So glad you got to see the INSANE powers the world of Naruto contains.
Finally! I been wanting this one for months! This anime and it's games are a roller coaster, would love to see you play it eventually. Definitely a game where Beth can mash buttons at too
Ok I'll try my best to briefly explain the characters you guys liked towards the end The giant blue leopard(I'm assuming this is what you're talking about) is a tailed beast called matatabi which is a cat that's main abilities involve blue fire It's super strong(All tailed beasts are) Shark Guy is called Hoshigaki Kisame, he is basically a shark human and he is super strong, one of the strongest characters in the whole serious. He can steal your strength and also use a lot of abilities revolving around sharks and water including like a literal portable ocean. He is incredibly loyal and had an interesting backstory. When he was captured he used all of his strength to break free and have one of his sharks kill himself before the person with mind magic could get all his secrets The mummy one was an ability used by Rock Lee where he wraps his bandages around his target which immobilizes them, making it easier for him to beat them up. Rock Lee started out super weak since he couldn't do anything except physical attacks like punching and kicking but he got super inspired by might guy and ended being pretty strong The little guy is naruto's son, The sand guy is gaara, the thing on his back is a gourd which he uses to store sand, its super useful if hes in an environment without any sand. He is also extremely strong but very overlooked because people got super excited about like the way too op people with god like power. He also has a tailed beast sealed within him, and he grew up super lonely because everyone thought he was a monster even though he was basically the son of the leader of the country. Even his father tried to assassinate him several times, and once he forced Gaara's closest(and pretty much only) friend to try to assassinate Gaara and tell him that his mother hated him even though his mother loved him but died during childbirth. Lightning stabby stab guy's name is kakashi, the special abilities he showed in his ultimates included extreme control of electricity, using his susanoo, and using his mangekyou sharingan which creates a black hole which leads to his own pocket dimension he can also suck certain things in such as an arm thus ripping the arm off its super op(all mangekyou sharingans are) but all mangekyou sharingans have big drawbacks. When he was a kid basically everyone he knew(his teacher, naruto's dad, his friends obito and rin) all died so hes had it pretty rough. His dad also commited suicide because people hated him since he decided to save his squadmates over completeing the mission he was tasked with and even his squadmates hated him for that. The guy who was all about the darkness is sasuke uchiha, he's the rival of naruto and just as important, just as powerful, and gets just as much screentime. His backstory is super super tragic along with his brother Itachi's. It's a long story so I won't get into it but it's pretty messed up Naruto is one of the biggest anime of all time and I'm pretty sure it has sold the most manga copies, it has so many cool abilities and plot twists and stuff from the beginning that ties into the end its such a cool anime watching the whole thing would probably take a while but you guys should definitely learn about naruto more. Also the girl who you guys jokingly said used pamphlets is actually super powerful(Her name is Konan). She almost killed one of the strongest people in the whole serious and only lost the fight because the person she was fighting overwrote reality. She and her two friends Nagato and yahiko were orphaned by the war and taught by Jiraiya but the guy who basically was the reason sasuke didnt get to be happy for 700 episodes also made someone they admired(Hanzo) think that Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan were planning to overthrow him so he forced Nagato to kill Yahiko which screwed up Nagato and Konan pretty badly. Also Nagato is insanely powerful but he got really bad injuries that constantly make him on the verge of death. Also for the harem thing it didn't show all of them, its more spilt 50/50 between the girls going crazy or just being shocked/not caring/confused Sorry its so long

I'm glad you enjoyed this! If you guys ever wanna check out anything else from the Naruto games, i'd recommend the ultimates in Ultimate Ninja 5! Even though it's for the PS2, I always thought that the ultimates in that game were generally cooler, more cinematic and a bit less hectic.
I'd recommend watching Ultimate Ninja Storm 1's Ultimates. They're much longer and more detailed and so would be easier to understand and appreciate. Starting with UNS2, they shortened them massively, presumably for online play
Yup you said it 100% correctly. They definitely did that because of it. It's not different that why NRS made Super Moves and Stage Transitions shorter in Injustice 2
All combinations are based on the people they had close relationships with. maybe if you watch a short summary of the anime, then you would understand the game and the combinations and maybe watch the gameplay. One of the best animes I have seen with a great storyline. That's why they have a huge fanbase.
The puppeteer character is Kankuro. He comes from a clan of assassins that use weaponized puppets that are loaded with all kinds of weaponry and poisons. They usually carry multiple puppets that are designed for different attacks and traps. Some even turn people they’ve killed into assassins. The red haired puppet he was using actually was someone known for his crazy puppet skills, but also turned himself into a puppet. After being defeated, he was used as a puppet by Kankuro. Kankuro’s puppets are crazy designed in that several of them link together to make traps like Iron Maidens.
The nine Demons are known for throwing gigantic balls of energy around, known as the Bijuudama (Tailed Beast Ball). The Fourth leader of Naruto's village decided to create a jutsu based on this technique, the Rasengan. He never got around to infusing Wind Chakra into it like he wanted, so the Rasengan can be combined with all sorts of Chakra. This results in a thing where every movie (including the officially canon one)ends up having an unique Rasengan. Naruto took the Wind Released Rasengan, and further developed it into the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. If the regular Rasengan does massive damage to its target, this shreds the target on a cellular level after detonating; the living target can lose their ability to mold Chakra. Naruto initially used it like normal, and it's only his insane healing that saved him from the Chakra-damaging poison. He had to come up with the advanced technique of throwing his shuriken. That's actually harder than you'd expect, because the jutsu would dissipate quickly unless Naruto held it for a stable flow of Chakra. I'm sure others can elaborate on the two techniques and their off shoots, but this is running a little long as it is. One final note: Konohamaru is summoning clones that transformed themselves; he also has male variants.
Just as an FYI, Gaara (the guy with the peanut on his back) is actually voiced by Liam O'Brian, the player and voice actor for Vax in Legends of Vox Machina.
I was surprised to see this reaction. It was more nostalgic for me since I’ve seen the anime and played the games as a kid but if I didn’t I would of thought the same thing. “Sensory overload” for sure, but this was a great reaction video.
The story for each numbered games is very cinematic. It has a very good dramatic stone. I have and played all the games and I still don’t know everybody’s names. Ultimate ninja storm 4 road to Boruto has all the characters and Awakenings in it. It’s a simple button press fighter. No fire ball motion or uppercut motion needed. Every character plays the same, so it’s more about which character looks cool to you and having fun.(ps4) so hold triangle to charge your meter Press triangle, triangle, circle. Then sit back and watch as a unsuspecting, man, woman, The elderly, or a small child GETS DESTROYED! Have fun. P.s sorry if my comments are so long, I want to make sure you know about a Game, and how it feels.
Just to let you know, Naruto saved the Ninja world with Sexy Reverse Harem Jutsu. I ish that was a joke. There's a lot of context needed, so I can get the senory overload. I'll let the people who've seen all the series and movies tell you why, but I'll just share my basic understanding of only playing the games. So, this game is basically Super Smash Bros Ultimate, where everyone one who were in the last 3 games is here (except for one) are here. All the Narutos, Sasukes, Sakuras, and others are here. From kid Naruto to Mighty Six Paths Naruto. And yes Boruto is Naruto's son, while Sarada is Sasuke's daughter. Sasuke is pronounced as "Sauce-kay". A lot of these ultimate jutsus are like what ifs. What if Naruto was able to team up with his parents for a finishing blow? Well here it is. I have no idea if it came from the manga, as I haven't even finished season one of Naruto, much less read the manga. Glad you enjoyed these, possibly a Naruto journey will be down the line, I'll join in as I really like what I played and watched. Plus seeing Naruto go from sort a clumsy kid dreaming to be a ninja, to a hero is really cool. Be warned there's more than a thousand episodes for the entire anime saga, from Naruto as a kid - to now, and it's still going. Also since you're interested in Kakashi, you should check out the Kakashi vs. Obi-Wan death battle.
Pretty spot on (coming from someone who watched most of the movies and still keeping up with the series now that it’s in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations). One thing I would like to add is that even though the game is titled Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 this is actually the 6th Ninja Storm game. There were 2 others (Ninja Storm Generations and Ninja Storm Revolution). So all the characters from the previous 5 games except for one made an appearance. The character that didn’t return was Lars Alexandersson who actually belongs to the Tekken franchise but made an appearance in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 for a little crossover and Naruto’s creator Masashi Kishimoto himself drew a costume for said character. The other thing I would like to add is that when it came to the team ultimates it’s a mix of both what if scenarios and things that have actually happened but it’s more of the former.
Death Battles are a bunch of entertaining yet usually really bias videos. My advice is don't take everything in them as fact as they like to make one side weaker than the other. One of the most bias ones is Gaara vs Toph in Toph's victory when literally EVERYONE, even Toph fans will agree Gaara would've won with no effort. Lol.

One that they recent watched Harley vs Jinx, we all agreed that Harley could have won with the mind games she likes to play. Also Link vs Cloud 10 year edition, they completely left out Mipha's Grace, so Link had another shot. I just want them to get to know Kakashi and to introduce and understand Naruto.

Minato and Kushina(Red hair with the headband) are Naruto's parents and Naruto is Boruto's father. Minato was Kakashi, Obito, and Rin's sensei. Kakashi was Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura's sensei. Jiraiya was Minato's sensei, Naruto's godfather, and temporarily Naruto's sensei for a while. There are A LOT of interpersonal connections that span multiple generations in this show.
There were a lot of questions you guys asked and some of them answered themselves as the video went on but from memory I will try to answer some that may have been unanswered. 1. Yes some of the characters shown with the black and red eyes were indeed bleeding from them and it’s because using certain moves such as the Amaterasu (the black/purple flame that Sasuke used quite a bit) is very straining. Those eyes are referred to as Sharingan and members of the Uchiha clan posses them as it is passed down through genetics. Not all Uchiha are able to use them though because the precursor to unlocking them is through experiencing some emotional trauma. 2. There were some characters that had blue lines coming from their fingers and you noticed that they fought with puppets. You were correct about that and the blue lines is chakra. Chakra is what this series uses as a power source such as how in Dragon Ball they use Ki. 3. The two male characters with the red hair were also father and son. The son Garaa used sand while the father used Gold. 4. Most characters that had resemblance to another either because of some techniques they used or because of some clearly genetic traits like hair color was in fact because they were family with a few exceptions. Naruto is the son of Minato and Kushina who the two of you realized as Naruto himself said so at some point. Naruto grew older in the series and now has both a son and a daughter himself (Boruto is his son which you have seen a bit of but his daughter isn’t a playable character). One exeception was Guy and Rock Lee. Although the two share similar attitudes, hair styles, the same outfit and they both used the same technique which turned their skin to a darker red-like color they only share a student and teacher bond.

10:38 The Reaper Death Seal is a forbidden jutsu in for the Uzumaki Clan but when the user use the shimigami (grim reaper) the user can’t see it but their enemy can making them shit their pants and the reaper basically just take the enemy’s soul and just instantly kills them
A really cool idea would be to react to death battles with Naruto characters in them. Id suggest Kakashi vs Obi Wan Kenobi & Might Guy vs All Might. Itll give a run down of the powers and abilities with their feats. Animation is top tier too!

Always recommend the naruto series! One thing that could help is that japanese is usually pronounced out in consonant and vowel pairings as individual syllables, like Madara is Ma-da-ra. There's some exceptions (like chi/tsu/shi are also individual syllables, the letter n can be stand alone, and double vowels usually means stretching the vowel sound) but this will get you through most Japanese words.
Huge Naruto fan and glad you guys did this. It's funny seeing people enjoy a series they know nothing about, with me just reflex explaining things when you were asking, lol.
Someone made a girlfriend cut for the whole Naruto series (from Naruto to Naruto Shippuden). To make his gf watch n Naruto, he removed the unecesaary parts like the filler episodes and the uneeded flashbacks. I think he managed to remove around 250+ hrs of watch time from doing that.
A lot of the characters here have great personalities it's An amazing Show that has been going on for years there character intros are not bad either after dragon Ball check Naruto out you'll enjoy it especially for it's Story
So fun fact: Gaara's whole deal is that they have the spirit of a Tanuki demon inside of them, which is a Japanese mythological raccoon/dog that's obsessed with money. They also notably have massive balls that grow the more money they get, and some are mentioned to be so big that they'll stretch it over their shoulder to carry them. That's why his sand gourd is shaped like that. It's meant to be like the balls of the creature he references. The main character (Naruto) and a few others you've seen also have demons in them that are based on mythological creatures and stories, like the nine tailed fox or Kyubi, Son Goku from Journey to the West, a two-tailed cat, the giant turtle monster, etc. Also worth noting the guys in the black robes with the clouds are all part of the same organization and are the main villains of the series, which is why they have a big super attack together.
To learn more about them, i suggest the chunin exams like rock Lee vs gaara or Temari vs shikamaru. The one that I absolutely love is when team Gaara saves Naruto's rescue team.
Idk if someone explained it already; someone probably did but kurama the fox with 9 tails is sealed within him and thats what it looks like when they work together. Other characters--won't give away who, have other spirits like kurama sealed in them but with different amount of tails.i wont say why cause thatd be a spoiler in my opinion but regardless: Hope this doesn't spoil anything but it shouldn't because it's given in naruto plot synopses and you asked about the tails so hope it helped!

Im glad you were finally able to see these. And you might be surprised but the game is actually a pretty decent size. On my PS4 i have 800 GB and this entire game only takes up about 30 GB!
Naruto Ninja Storm 4 is absolutely a gem of a game. I wish they made another one, with more factors that played into it, like environmental advantages and stages.
Man...Kurama (the nine-tailed fox you see at the start with Naruto) has always been my favorite character in the entire series. And the series has A LOT of great and interesting characters. Call me biased for loving the animals, but I can't help if they made the coolest character a fox.
This game series is based on a VERY popular anime series simply called Naruto(the sequel series is called Naruto Shippuden) as such this is a VERY context heavy game(very similar to the Dragon Ball Fighterz videos you've done). Not to mention there's also a bunch of "what if" attacks so you you'll probably be even MORE confused.(won't even know if there "real" or not) but I'm sure you enjoyed them since they're always cool.

I love this game and have played it for years, but my gosh, seeing all the ultimates back to back with no pauses in between is an exhausting experience. Lol
I’m not sure if anyone’s commented this already but these are also the same devs who recently did demon slayer: hinokami chronicles, soon to come out with a dlc for its latest arc in the anime (Entertainment district arc) hope to see ya both react the supers on that game too in the future. This game has like almost 20 years of lore and history of the Naruto series. It's like 5 games in one that's why there's so many Supers from like more than 100+ characters.
There is way to many things to explain so I'll just say a few things As you saw Minato (The Guy that was teleporting all the time) and Kushina (The woman with the crazy red hair) are the parents of Naruto Naruto gets together with Hinata (The Girl that said she felt safe with him) when they get older and their kids are Boruto and Himiwari Sasuke and Itachi are brothers Sasuke marries Sakura and their kid is Sarada The third kid with Boruto and Sarada is Mizuke which is the child of the snake dude Orochimaru. The reason all those people were wearing the same black robes with red clouds is that they were all part of the same group called the Akatsuki The people who were turning into big ass monsters are called Jinchuruki, their people with the 1-9 tailed monsters sealed within them and thus they can use their power. Like I said there is a looot more to explain but that is just a few things to clear up stuff
Yeah that was so rapid fire even having seen all the animes, I still had a hard time keeping up. Half of those finishers weren't even in the animes, but that's due to this game making a whole bunch of minor characters playable. As for lore building, trying to do that in a meaningful way without spoiling things would be tough because the story (and its characters) is Naruto's appeal: the world itself isn't all that remarkable. That said, I'll try to give you a spoiler-free world overview anyway. In Naruto's world, the land is divided into several great nations, each with a capitol city. The militaries of each nation are comprised entirely of ninjas, who mix a pinch of modern technology (like micro-explosives stuck to the adhesive back of slips of paper to make "paper bombs") with old school ninja weapons (like shuriken and kunai) and their chakra abilities (effectively magic). Everyone has chakra (life energy), but only a certain percentage of people have the aptitude to use it (and thus become ninja). Historically, the nations have all fought each other at one point in time or another, but at the beginning of Naruto, they're in a sort of uneasy truce state that's been holding for a while. Now, here's the part that nobody really talks about when it comes to Naruto: every nation in Naruto uses child soldiers. It's just the norm. They don't draft them, though: children who can become ninjas usually choose to enroll in their nation's academy at around the age of 6, but it's always entirely up to them (pretty heavy choice to lay on a 6 year old, though). If they graduate, that happens around age 12. From that point until sometime in their adulthood (maybe when they're 18-20?), they are soldiers who fight for their nations. After they serve their tour, they can choose to retire (and do whatever else they want as a civilian) or they can choose to stay in and be a career ninja. I mention all this because while Naruto usually has a cheery vibe to it, it can become heartbreakingly sad in an instant: a moment ago you were watching a ninja fight with powers and explosions and cool martial arts, and now you're watching a couple of 12 year olds trying to cope with the sudden death of one of their friends and comrades. These are stories that will make you laugh and cry. Sometimes both simultaneously.
Appreciate the quick synopsis of what is going on here. Like the fact that everyone has chakra but only Ninjas can use it. So basically anyone can be a ninja? 🤔 Can you learn to use it or is it just something you are born with? Some know how to use it innately?
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Lol, sorry it wasn't short. No, not everyone can be a ninja. You have to have the inherent ability to manipulate your chakra to be accepted to your nation's academy. This ability is inherited, kind of like being double jointed or being able to roll your tongue: not everybody can do it, and on its own, it's kind of a useless ability. That ability by itself doesn't make you a ninja: it just means you have the potential to learn how to be one. So, if you want to be one, you go to the academy, and they teach you how to manipulate your chakra in ways that are actually useful: ninjutsu (energy/elemental based "magic"), taijutsu (martial arts), and genjutsu (illusions). Ninjas use their chakra in all three (if you're wondering how it helps with taijutsu, it makes them stronger/faster/tougher). They also teach you tactics, survival strategies, and an absurd amount of mental discipline.
Yeah, as far as dramatic supers, this blew Guilty Gear away and I’m a fan of both. You guys should check out the anime series just to grasp a better understanding of Naruto.
Of the "8 trigrams, 64 palms" ones, Neji(the guy), is Hinata(the girl in purple, blue and white)'s cousin. Neji is significantly more talented in their clan's ninja arts, in large part because Hinata lacks confidence. The other girl in brown is Hanabi, her little sister(also significantly more talented than her in their ninja arts. She was originally meant to be the successor, as the daughter of the leader. But she was ruled as too incompetent, and her sister was seen as the better option. The Hyuuga clan was quite fcked up, and Neji and his father are basically enslaved to the main branch of the clan - Which is why Neji used to hate Hinata, even though she had nothing to do with it, and never looked down on him. Mainly because his father died in her place, due to "great ninja nations" politics, and his own choice(the only one he was allowed to make himself, as he put it)).
Naruto is an unforgettable series, and it's simply amazing. However, It is very long. You could watch it without fillers, but it would still be mad long. I could tell this was total overload and straight-up confusing with zero knowledge on anything, to begin with. The game is cool in its own right but doesn't do the series justice, only having seen some of it from that source and not knowing anything about it. This is one of those series I'd recommend that anyone should watch if they are remotely interested in these types of epic fight scenes and the accompanying story. Since it starts out as all of them being kids, it will most likely feel really slow a lot of the time, but I started watching much of it as a kid and went back to it as an adult so I could skip a lot of it plus, the fillers. I don't regret any of my time spent on this. Personally, I think this is a package deal. I wouldn't enjoy anything as much if I didn't have the story to go with it. I hope you find something that works out for you, but if you get over the speed bumps on the way, I think you'd really enjoy it.

In all honesty though, while I really enjoy Naruto, it's pretty funny when you realize that not only do a lot of the craziest looking attacks here not result in one hit kills like they definitely should, but the massive explosions leave the ground completely untouched.

So something that’s really cool about Naruto is the diversity and creativity of techniques and skillsets each character uses in both the games and anime. Like how Garra is able to conjure sand at will and bend it in any shape or size. His sand even acts on it’s own to protect him. Then there other characters like Kimimaru which are able to literally use their own bones as weapons; for example pulling his spine out and using it as a whip or shooting bone fragments from his finger tips as bullets. There’s characters with ocular abilities like Sasuke and his brother Itachi, able to put someone in an illusion called genjutsu or set them a blaze in exchange for damage on their eyesight, hence the eye bleeding. There are so many different abilities to be explored in the world of Naruto. The ultimates are definitely flashy and even jarring at times but the anime itself really illustrates this well. Kishimoto was and is a genius when it comes to creating fights in this series. There are a few fights to watch that show a lot of these techniques like Sasuke vs Itachi, Garra vs Kimimaru, Madara vs the entire shinobi alliance, 3rd Hokage vs Orochimaru, etc.

These games are awesome! The Devs really went all out on the ultimates, they created many of them from scratch with techniques that weren't used to their full potential in the show and get really creative with some of them; like the team one with all the Akatsuki (big group with red/black robes) assembled together, we never saw that in the anime/manga but it looks incredible in-game.

But with Naruto it is heavenly driven story (Not all of it makes sense.) but ill say this much, if not for this series; I prob would have ever worked so hard for my friends and/or any bonds that I have. This show really drives the word "Bond" to mean something. And that hard work can pay off no matter how weak people think you are.

I haven’t watched Naruto for 5 years, but I still tear up when he is with his paerents throwing that rasengan.
Naruto has such a sad, yet delightful and motivating story. It takes a year or two to watch the whole series, and Boruto is still airing.
It’s a bit silly at the begining, but as Naruto grows so as the story. It involves 5 generations of characters and a continental, later planetary conflict. Over the seasons some politics and romance comes in. And there are jokes so hugely streched out, ther was one that played out after 10 years (the harem jutsu is one of those). Like the recycle trash bins scene in The Office. And the more you know about the story the more it seems like a science fiction, rather than fantasy. With one simple element -chakra- brought into the world. And what the story evolves into in the last two seasons is fantastic.
I have a hard drive with every episodes and movies of Naruto so I can watch it again when I will have kids. The story and characters are so great, it forges you to be a better human.
I could not enjoy Game of Thronse, simply becaus Naruto is much much better. It has tragedy, but it is wholesome. Like The Hobbit or LotR with more politics and romance. There are a lot of filler episodes, that sail away from the main story. But these are like the poems and sight explanations that Tolkien wrote. They expand the world, and you want to watch them. Compared to GoT: Okay, now where is the capter about John Snow? And: Oh Boromir died, now why should I watch the series?

This game is ironically really fun in terms of gameplay. I’ve never even come close to finishing Naruto (currently watching it) but this game is always a blast to come to (also the giant peanut is called a gourd 😂 it’s a type of cup or bottle and it holds Gaara’s sand)

The tailed beasts are mythical creatures of immense power that generally hate humans, because humans have found ways to trap these beasts inside other humans so that their power can be used by the person who the tailed beast is sealed within. Most commonly they are sealed within a child, sometimes at birth.
Gaara (the sand guy) is such a case, the 1 tailed beast was taken out of his mother and sealed within him, but no one can survive when a tailed beast is taken out of them. As a child he was scorned by everyone because they fear the monster within him, to the point that his own father sent assassins to kill him. The sand protected him and in his rage he killed all of them. From then on his philosophy became that the world is a wonderful place as long as there are people to kill. Also the mascara around his eyes hides the dark bags, because he cant sleep in fear of the monster inside taking control.
he does get a good redemption arc later, but when we first meet him he very much commands fear.

The Naruto ninja Storm games are so good that masashi kishimoto (the manga author) considers it the definitive way to experience the complete story. The Legacy collection is inexpensive and has all 4 games, and it gets Hype and Emotional.
The Ninja world of Naruto is a deep and rich with lore and symbolism. Messages of the pain of war and prejudice, breaking negative cycles of hatred, finding ones own "ninja way", and even redemption and unity which lead into hope for new generations by passing on "The Will of Fire" amongst many other things. It one of the most influential franchises in my life.
That’s a cool fun fact that the games are so good the creator thinks they are the best way to experience it 😀
These games always look so good! Having grown up with Naruto, it was so much fun seeing variety in character stories and ninja arts. My favorite fight scene would probably be Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori. I think it set the stage for how much could go into these battles🥹
The Hyuga fighting style of Gentle Fist allows that to block chakra points. Without chakra points, the enemy can use their chakra, which is necessary for jutsu, increasing physical capabilities in a fight, etc. Each palm is them hitting a chakra point, slowly getting faster and faster. Those with other forms of chakra, like Sage Mode or a tailed beast, like Naruto, are the few exceptions that can still fight properly after getting hut by all 64.
Also a quick note, both normal harem and reverse harem jutsu don't use any clothes, and the "assets" (lol) are just covered by smoke in the show, but they needed at least a towl/bikini for the game due to some annoying complaints from people who often don't even play the games or watch the show.

Gaara, the guy with the giant peanut on his back, has one of the best character developments in the entire show. Like Naruto, as a baby, he was given the burden of being a vessel of one of the tailed beasts, which is where his sand powers come from, and the reason why he was feared and hated by most people in his village. Unlike Naruto, instead of wanting to become a famous and revered person that everybody respects, he became cold and bitter. He became just a weapon to be used against his nation's enemies. After having met and fought Naruto in a battle to the death, and being spared, he started to change. Naruto knew his pain, and related to him in every way, but he showed him that there was another way to live. In the sequel to Naruto, he became the Kazekage, the title given to the leader of the Village Hidden by Sand. Just like Naruto did, he later befriended the beast sealed inside him and they became friends. In the sequel to that, the spinoff series about Naruto's son, he's still the Kazekage, but became an adoptive father to a child who almost walked the same path he did. He journeyed a long way, and is probably one of my favorite characters in the show.
But that sand--awful stuff. Gets everywhere.

I really love the Naruto series. It has much to offer emotionally and it is very dope. The death battles will give you a good summary of the story and characters. They also explain the abilities well so try those. I do recommend fights from the show Naruto vs sasuke part one. I know it’s a rocky road with strikes and other issues reacting to anime. Enjoying the variety of content.
For me Naruto is in the top 10 anime. It could be in the top 5 if there is less remembering to the same thing over and over again.
But the fights and the story are amazing.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I'd recommend watching the Rock Lee vs Gaara fight from this show. It's one of the deepest fights in the series and it happens pretty early. Very emotional, and inspiring to boot. It cemented Rock Lee as one of the best characters in the series.

The Big 3 being the most popular Shonen manga series (Shonen meaning "Young Boy" cuz that's the target audience) with the longest chapter counts (meaning over hundreds of volumes). Alongside One Piece and Bleach.
This particular game series, the Ninja Storm series, is one of the most popular Naruto games and each one always adds more characters from the series to please fans.
I'm not the biggest Naruto fan, but I do love some of the stuff that has come out of it and always have fond memories of it.

Ok I'll try my best to briefly explain the characters you guys liked towards the end
The giant blue leopard(I'm assuming this is what you're talking about) is a tailed beast called matatabi which is a cat that's main abilities involve blue fire
It's super strong(All tailed beasts are)
Shark Guy is called Hoshigaki Kisame, he is basically a shark human and he is super strong, one of the strongest characters in the whole serious. He can steal your strength and also use a lot of abilities revolving around sharks and water including like a literal portable ocean. He is incredibly loyal and had an interesting backstory. When he was captured he used all of his strength to break free and have one of his sharks kill himself before the person with mind magic could get all his secrets
The mummy one was an ability used by Rock Lee where he wraps his bandages around his target which immobilizes them, making it easier for him to beat them up. Rock Lee started out super weak since he couldn't do anything except physical attacks like punching and kicking but he got super inspired by might guy and ended being pretty strong
The little guy is naruto's son,
The sand guy is gaara, the thing on his back is a gourd which he uses to store sand, its super useful if hes in an environment without any sand. He is also extremely strong but very overlooked because people got super excited about like the way too op people with god like power. He also has a tailed beast sealed within him, and he grew up super lonely because everyone thought he was a monster even though he was basically the son of the leader of the country. Even his father tried to assassinate him several times, and once he forced Gaara's closest(and pretty much only) friend to try to assassinate Gaara and tell him that his mother hated him even though his mother loved him but died during childbirth.
Lightning stabby stab guy's name is kakashi, the special abilities he showed in his ultimates included extreme control of electricity, using his susanoo, and using his mangekyou sharingan which creates a black hole which leads to his own pocket dimension he can also suck certain things in such as an arm thus ripping the arm off its super op(all mangekyou sharingans are) but all mangekyou sharingans have big drawbacks. When he was a kid basically everyone he knew(his teacher, naruto's dad, his friends obito and rin) all died so hes had it pretty rough. His dad also commited suicide because people hated him since he decided to save his squadmates over completeing the mission he was tasked with and even his squadmates hated him for that.
The guy who was all about the darkness is sasuke uchiha, he's the rival of naruto and just as important, just as powerful, and gets just as much screentime. His backstory is super super tragic along with his brother Itachi's. It's a long story so I won't get into it but it's pretty messed up
Naruto is one of the biggest anime of all time and I'm pretty sure it has sold the most manga copies, it has so many cool abilities and plot twists and stuff from the beginning that ties into the end its such a cool anime watching the whole thing would probably take a while but you guys should definitely learn about naruto more.
Also the girl who you guys jokingly said used pamphlets is actually super powerful(Her name is Konan). She almost killed one of the strongest people in the whole serious and only lost the fight because the person she was fighting overwrote reality. She and her two friends Nagato and yahiko were orphaned by the war and taught by Jiraiya but the guy who basically was the reason sasuke didnt get to be happy for 700 episodes also made someone they admired(Hanzo) think that Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan were planning to overthrow him so he forced Nagato to kill Yahiko which screwed up Nagato and Konan pretty badly. Also Nagato is insanely powerful but he got really bad injuries that constantly make him on the verge of death.
Also for the harem thing it didn't show all of them, its more spilt 50/50 between the girls going crazy or just being shocked/not caring/confused

I'd recommend watching Ultimate Ninja Storm 1's Ultimates. They're much longer and more detailed and so would be easier to understand and appreciate. Starting with UNS2, they shortened them massively, presumably for online play

All combinations are based on the people they had close relationships with. maybe if you watch a short summary of the anime, then you would understand the game and the combinations and maybe watch the gameplay. One of the best animes I have seen with a great storyline. That's why they have a huge fanbase.

The puppeteer character is Kankuro. He comes from a clan of assassins that use weaponized puppets that are loaded with all kinds of weaponry and poisons. They usually carry multiple puppets that are designed for different attacks and traps. Some even turn people they’ve killed into assassins. The red haired puppet he was using actually was someone known for his crazy puppet skills, but also turned himself into a puppet. After being defeated, he was used as a puppet by Kankuro. Kankuro’s puppets are crazy designed in that several of them link together to make traps like Iron Maidens.
The nine Demons are known for throwing gigantic balls of energy around, known as the Bijuudama (Tailed Beast Ball). The Fourth leader of Naruto's village decided to create a jutsu based on this technique, the Rasengan.
He never got around to infusing Wind Chakra into it like he wanted, so the Rasengan can be combined with all sorts of Chakra. This results in a thing where every movie (including the officially canon one)ends up having an unique Rasengan.
Naruto took the Wind Released Rasengan, and further developed it into the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. If the regular Rasengan does massive damage to its target, this shreds the target on a cellular level after detonating; the living target can lose their ability to mold Chakra.
Naruto initially used it like normal, and it's only his insane healing that saved him from the Chakra-damaging poison. He had to come up with the advanced technique of throwing his shuriken.
That's actually harder than you'd expect, because the jutsu would dissipate quickly unless Naruto held it for a stable flow of Chakra.
I'm sure others can elaborate on the two techniques and their off shoots, but this is running a little long as it is.
One final note: Konohamaru is summoning clones that transformed themselves; he also has male variants.

The story for each numbered games is very cinematic. It has a very good dramatic stone. I have and played all the games and I still don’t know everybody’s names. Ultimate ninja storm 4 road to Boruto has all the characters and Awakenings in it. It’s a simple button press fighter. No fire ball motion or uppercut motion needed. Every character plays the same, so it’s more about which character looks cool to you and having fun.(ps4) so hold triangle to charge your meter Press triangle, triangle, circle. Then sit back and watch as a unsuspecting, man, woman, The elderly, or a small child GETS DESTROYED! Have fun. P.s sorry if my comments are so long, I want to make sure you know about a Game, and how it feels.

Just to let you know, Naruto saved the Ninja world with Sexy Reverse Harem Jutsu. I ish that was a joke. There's a lot of context needed, so I can get the senory overload. I'll let the people who've seen all the series and movies tell you why, but I'll just share my basic understanding of only playing the games. So, this game is basically Super Smash Bros Ultimate, where everyone one who were in the last 3 games is here (except for one) are here. All the Narutos, Sasukes, Sakuras, and others are here. From kid Naruto to Mighty Six Paths Naruto. And yes Boruto is Naruto's son, while Sarada is Sasuke's daughter. Sasuke is pronounced as "Sauce-kay". A lot of these ultimate jutsus are like what ifs. What if Naruto was able to team up with his parents for a finishing blow? Well here it is. I have no idea if it came from the manga, as I haven't even finished season one of Naruto, much less read the manga. Glad you enjoyed these, possibly a Naruto journey will be down the line, I'll join in as I really like what I played and watched. Plus seeing Naruto go from sort a clumsy kid dreaming to be a ninja, to a hero is really cool. Be warned there's more than a thousand episodes for the entire anime saga, from Naruto as a kid - to now, and it's still going.
Also since you're interested in Kakashi, you should check out the Kakashi vs. Obi-Wan death battle.
Pretty spot on (coming from someone who watched most of the movies and still keeping up with the series now that it’s in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations). One thing I would like to add is that even though the game is titled Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 this is actually the 6th Ninja Storm game. There were 2 others (Ninja Storm Generations and Ninja Storm Revolution). So all the characters from the previous 5 games except for one made an appearance.
The character that didn’t return was Lars Alexandersson who actually belongs to the Tekken franchise but made an appearance in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 for a little crossover and Naruto’s creator Masashi Kishimoto himself drew a costume for said character.
The other thing I would like to add is that when it came to the team ultimates it’s a mix of both what if scenarios and things that have actually happened but it’s more of the former.
Death Battles are a bunch of entertaining yet usually really bias videos. My advice is don't take everything in them as fact as they like to make one side weaker than the other. One of the most bias ones is Gaara vs Toph in Toph's victory when literally EVERYONE, even Toph fans will agree Gaara would've won with no effort. Lol.

One that they recent watched Harley vs Jinx, we all agreed that Harley could have won with the mind games she likes to play. Also Link vs Cloud 10 year edition, they completely left out Mipha's Grace, so Link had another shot. I just want them to get to know Kakashi and to introduce and understand Naruto.

Minato and Kushina(Red hair with the headband) are Naruto's parents and Naruto is Boruto's father. Minato was Kakashi, Obito, and Rin's sensei. Kakashi was Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura's sensei. Jiraiya was Minato's sensei, Naruto's godfather, and temporarily Naruto's sensei for a while.
There are A LOT of interpersonal connections that span multiple generations in this show.

There were a lot of questions you guys asked and some of them answered themselves as the video went on but from memory I will try to answer some that may have been unanswered.
1. Yes some of the characters shown with the black and red eyes were indeed bleeding from them and it’s because using certain moves such as the Amaterasu (the black/purple flame that Sasuke used quite a bit) is very straining. Those eyes are referred to as Sharingan and members of the Uchiha clan posses them as it is passed down through genetics. Not all Uchiha are able to use them though because the precursor to unlocking them is through experiencing some emotional trauma.
2. There were some characters that had blue lines coming from their fingers and you noticed that they fought with puppets. You were correct about that and the blue lines is chakra. Chakra is what this series uses as a power source such as how in Dragon Ball they use Ki.
3. The two male characters with the red hair were also father and son. The son Garaa used sand while the father used Gold.
4. Most characters that had resemblance to another either because of some techniques they used or because of some clearly genetic traits like hair color was in fact because they were family with a few exceptions. Naruto is the son of Minato and Kushina who the two of you realized as Naruto himself said so at some point. Naruto grew older in the series and now has both a son and a daughter himself (Boruto is his son which you have seen a bit of but his daughter isn’t a playable character). One exeception was Guy and Rock Lee. Although the two share similar attitudes, hair styles, the same outfit and they both used the same technique which turned their skin to a darker red-like color they only share a student and teacher bond.
Thanks for giving us some answers to our many questions. So Amaterasu is kinda like El using her abilities in Stranger Things 🤔🙂

A really cool idea would be to react to death battles with Naruto characters in them. Id suggest Kakashi vs Obi Wan Kenobi & Might Guy vs All Might. Itll give a run down of the powers and abilities with their feats. Animation is top tier too!

Always recommend the naruto series! One thing that could help is that japanese is usually pronounced out in consonant and vowel pairings as individual syllables, like Madara is Ma-da-ra. There's some exceptions (like chi/tsu/shi are also individual syllables, the letter n can be stand alone, and double vowels usually means stretching the vowel sound) but this will get you through most Japanese words.

So fun fact: Gaara's whole deal is that they have the spirit of a Tanuki demon inside of them, which is a Japanese mythological raccoon/dog that's obsessed with money. They also notably have massive balls that grow the more money they get, and some are mentioned to be so big that they'll stretch it over their shoulder to carry them.
That's why his sand gourd is shaped like that. It's meant to be like the balls of the creature he references.
The main character (Naruto) and a few others you've seen also have demons in them that are based on mythological creatures and stories, like the nine tailed fox or Kyubi, Son Goku from Journey to the West, a two-tailed cat, the giant turtle monster, etc.
Also worth noting the guys in the black robes with the clouds are all part of the same organization and are the main villains of the series, which is why they have a big super attack together.

Man...Kurama (the nine-tailed fox you see at the start with Naruto) has always been my favorite character in the entire series. And the series has A LOT of great and interesting characters. Call me biased for loving the animals, but I can't help if they made the coolest character a fox.

This game series is based on a VERY popular anime series simply called Naruto(the sequel series is called Naruto Shippuden) as such this is a VERY context heavy game(very similar to the Dragon Ball Fighterz videos you've done). Not to mention there's also a bunch of "what if" attacks so you you'll probably be even MORE confused.(won't even know if there "real" or not) but I'm sure you enjoyed them since they're always cool.

This game has like almost 20 years of lore and history of the Naruto series. It's like 5 games in one that's why there's so many Supers from like more than 100+ characters.

There is way to many things to explain so I'll just say a few things
As you saw Minato (The Guy that was teleporting all the time) and Kushina (The woman with the crazy red hair) are the parents of Naruto
Naruto gets together with Hinata (The Girl that said she felt safe with him) when they get older and their kids are Boruto and Himiwari
Sasuke and Itachi are brothers
Sasuke marries Sakura and their kid is Sarada
The third kid with Boruto and Sarada is Mizuke which is the child of the snake dude Orochimaru.
The reason all those people were wearing the same black robes with red clouds is that they were all part of the same group called the Akatsuki
The people who were turning into big ass monsters are called Jinchuruki, their people with the 1-9 tailed monsters sealed within them and thus they can use their power.
Like I said there is a looot more to explain but that is just a few things to clear up stuff

Yeah that was so rapid fire even having seen all the animes, I still had a hard time keeping up. Half of those finishers weren't even in the animes, but that's due to this game making a whole bunch of minor characters playable.
As for lore building, trying to do that in a meaningful way without spoiling things would be tough because the story (and its characters) is Naruto's appeal: the world itself isn't all that remarkable. That said, I'll try to give you a spoiler-free world overview anyway.
In Naruto's world, the land is divided into several great nations, each with a capitol city. The militaries of each nation are comprised entirely of ninjas, who mix a pinch of modern technology (like micro-explosives stuck to the adhesive back of slips of paper to make "paper bombs") with old school ninja weapons (like shuriken and kunai) and their chakra abilities (effectively magic). Everyone has chakra (life energy), but only a certain percentage of people have the aptitude to use it (and thus become ninja). Historically, the nations have all fought each other at one point in time or another, but at the beginning of Naruto, they're in a sort of uneasy truce state that's been holding for a while.
Now, here's the part that nobody really talks about when it comes to Naruto: every nation in Naruto uses child soldiers. It's just the norm. They don't draft them, though: children who can become ninjas usually choose to enroll in their nation's academy at around the age of 6, but it's always entirely up to them (pretty heavy choice to lay on a 6 year old, though). If they graduate, that happens around age 12. From that point until sometime in their adulthood (maybe when they're 18-20?), they are soldiers who fight for their nations. After they serve their tour, they can choose to retire (and do whatever else they want as a civilian) or they can choose to stay in and be a career ninja. I mention all this because while Naruto usually has a cheery vibe to it, it can become heartbreakingly sad in an instant: a moment ago you were watching a ninja fight with powers and explosions and cool martial arts, and now you're watching a couple of 12 year olds trying to cope with the sudden death of one of their friends and comrades. These are stories that will make you laugh and cry. Sometimes both simultaneously.
Appreciate the quick synopsis of what is going on here. Like the fact that everyone has chakra but only Ninjas can use it. So basically anyone can be a ninja? 🤔 Can you learn to use it or is it just something you are born with? Some know how to use it innately?
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Lol, sorry it wasn't short. No, not everyone can be a ninja. You have to have the inherent ability to manipulate your chakra to be accepted to your nation's academy. This ability is inherited, kind of like being double jointed or being able to roll your tongue: not everybody can do it, and on its own, it's kind of a useless ability. That ability by itself doesn't make you a ninja: it just means you have the potential to learn how to be one. So, if you want to be one, you go to the academy, and they teach you how to manipulate your chakra in ways that are actually useful: ninjutsu (energy/elemental based "magic"), taijutsu (martial arts), and genjutsu (illusions). Ninjas use their chakra in all three (if you're wondering how it helps with taijutsu, it makes them stronger/faster/tougher). They also teach you tactics, survival strategies, and an absurd amount of mental discipline.

Of the "8 trigrams, 64 palms" ones, Neji(the guy), is Hinata(the girl in purple, blue and white)'s cousin. Neji is significantly more talented in their clan's ninja arts, in large part because Hinata lacks confidence. The other girl in brown is Hanabi, her little sister(also significantly more talented than her in their ninja arts. She was originally meant to be the successor, as the daughter of the leader. But she was ruled as too incompetent, and her sister was seen as the better option. The Hyuuga clan was quite fcked up, and Neji and his father are basically enslaved to the main branch of the clan - Which is why Neji used to hate Hinata, even though she had nothing to do with it, and never looked down on him. Mainly because his father died in her place, due to "great ninja nations" politics, and his own choice(the only one he was allowed to make himself, as he put it)).

Naruto is an unforgettable series, and it's simply amazing. However, It is very long. You could watch it without fillers, but it would still be mad long. I could tell this was total overload and straight-up confusing with zero knowledge on anything, to begin with. The game is cool in its own right but doesn't do the series justice, only having seen some of it from that source and not knowing anything about it. This is one of those series I'd recommend that anyone should watch if they are remotely interested in these types of epic fight scenes and the accompanying story. Since it starts out as all of them being kids, it will most likely feel really slow a lot of the time, but I started watching much of it as a kid and went back to it as an adult so I could skip a lot of it plus, the fillers. I don't regret any of my time spent on this. Personally, I think this is a package deal. I wouldn't enjoy anything as much if I didn't have the story to go with it. I hope you find something that works out for you, but if you get over the speed bumps on the way, I think you'd really enjoy it.
