  • Becoming 'triggered' simply means your emotions have gotten the better of you. Ok, yes that's a tad simplistic.
    But my logic is that the tools that emotional intelligence give you the capacity to overcome those reactive, knee-jerk moments, and instead come from a place of calm, confidence and conviction.
