For now I fixed two sticks using epoxy resin with inserts made from another old stick parts (cut them in L and I profiles to fit inside). Firstly I push inside of one side deep around 7-8cm paper stuff that epoxy resin can't run deeper inside. Then fill some amount of epoxy resin and push inside half of insert, then fill in another part of stick with around 1dl of resin, connect it to insert that fits and turn stick that resin drop down in direction of insert and paper stuffed barrier. From outside I put L shape profile what keeps two parts of stick perfectly aligned and leave for 24 hours... I'm beer league beginner and stick holds few games for now;-)

Do you know SRS technology or more recent Flexlite which are both much more advanced then using wooden insert ? those makes repaired sticks again very useable for ice hockey (even for Pros) with adding just a little weight and changing flex profile very slightly. Here in Slovakia, refurbished sticks cost 1/4 sometimes 1/5 of original price, what makes top line sticks available literally for everyone.

Can you still flex is bc I got a stick from a team called prince George spruce kings and it got snapped bc it was game used they gave me it and I want to repair it and I want to know if you can still flex it
It wil flex, but just a litle bit less.... But soon i wil be showing you a better way to fix your stick. And it wil flex almost the same as from the start. ... and it wil be mutch stronger😅
Ja, Esche ist aufjedenfall stärcker als Ahorn. Aber auch das kann brechen bei starcker beanspruchung. Ich gebrauchen so ein Stock darum Vorwiegend für Stickhandling und das Hockeyspielen mit Kindern.

Ich bin überrascht das ash is stark genug. Ich habe das with maple (Ahorn) gemacht, aber es war kaputt nach dem erste Schuss.
