Did you have this game as 'Street Hassle' or did your version have a different title? 😇🕹👌 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= More from 1987: tinyurl.com/1987-C64-GAMES My Top Picks: tinyurl.com/CCGS-BEST-GAMES
Beat em' up is already a genre inviting absurdity, but this game is just even more ludicrous. I especially like that strangling move (not ear tweak) as it can be kept going even after foe has lost all of it's health.
This game was superbly violent fun! Gotta love the 80's metal wrestling hair style, the variety of moves and the bosses. Taking out those blind gits who twirled was a real bastard!
This is a really well made game with intuitive controls (however did not find the hammer slinger yet) and nice little details like the screen that trembles when you kick or headbutt an opponent into the side. Thanks!
Yeah that's true - it did have loads of nice little touches in the game such as the shaking screen like you mentioned. Crazy concept though isn't it 🤣🕹👌
Hah, I thought this game was called Hogan's Alley for a while, but now I realize that it's a different game altogether. Anyway, I liked this game at the time, you didn't see big sprites like that on C64 all that often.
I'm pretty sure the player character is supposed to be Gorgeous Greg from their previous game Bop 'N Wrestle (aka Rock 'N Wrestle), but it really doesn't look like him.
Yeah I heard that too - whoever he was he was one crazy dude 🤣 I liked the fact they changed his hair a little for both the US & EUR versions to be able to tell the difference 😇🕹👌
This game is so much fun. The first few times at it I clearly remember how much it made me laugh. So absurd and brilliant. I say the C64 version is by far the best. The Amiga bootleg one looks kind of hideous imo. Thanks for covering another great C64 title!
Good fun this game isn't it, while it lasts. I agree, the Amiga version was pretty terrible, however it wasn't made by a major publishing house. If this ever got a remake, that would be cool 😇🕹️👌
My recollection is that the old ladies didn't attack you if you didn't attack them first, and if you did, the little guys with trench coats were more likely to drop bombs instead of hearts. That's just from memory, though; it's been a long time since I played this one.
The Original title "Hulk Hogan kills the Disabled and their pets" was, apparently, rejected. I got this with my Disk Drive and it really is big dumb fun. Horrible, blocky visuals but very playable arcade fun. There was controversy when it released and a modern remake would probably melt the internet. Well worth a play, even today.
I imagine the board reunion when the idea was pitched... *OK! So in this game, you play a pro wrestler in yellow speedo who beat the crap out old men, little woman with a bag, monkey and then pet a dog here and there... all this during his day off!!!!* And then *HELL YEAH !!! THATS GENIUS!!! We could make a franchise out of it and then make a movie with hulk hogan as the main cast!!!! Let make this game!!!!*
Cheeky, im not trying to speak british but man, this game looks like total rubbish, i cant even, the Amiga version looks worth 10 bucks.. but this game just does not feel like a winner... however this is another banger from ole Cheeky.
Haha yeah it's definitely not one that has much lastability but it's one that should certainly be tried at least once just due to its absolutely bonkers gameplay 🤣🕹👌

What a crazy concept huh - had me rolling in laughter as a kid, just due to the pure absurdity of the game 😇🕹️👌

Those blind gits were solid, especially when there were three or four in a group! However, I still felt a little guilty beating them all to a pulp 🤣🕹👌
loved this as a child
Haha was fun back in the day, a shame the novelty wore off fast but definitely worth trying if never played before 😇🕹👌

My favourite brawler back then. Really good graphics and animation. I liked that you got a different special move in every stage.
Great fighting game isn't it - something unique 😇🕹️👌
My personal favorite is that strangling move that you can keep doing even after foe has lost all health.

This game used to make me laugh a lot when I was a kid - good fun in short bursts 😇🕹👌
Lol I remember this now👍🏻 I know it as bop'n rumble 😂😊
Ahh yeah it did come with quite a few different names doesn't it - mad game, zany concept 🤣🕹👌

Yellow boots and shorts. Not based of Hulk Hogan was it. Indeed one very strange game. 🕹
He definitely bore some similarities and Hulk was just as zany... so you never know! Probably huh 😇🕹👌
Hahaha! I like the fingers up 'Buster blood vessels' lookalike on the cover art! 😂😅✌️
Awesome artwork isn't it. Mad game this, when I first played it I couldn't stop laughing back when I was a kid 🤣🕹👌
@@CheekyCommodoreGamer A crazy game mate! 🤣

Great memories, such a fun and obscure game that you'd only really see back in the 80s haha. Had so many laughs playing this as a kid 😇🕹️👌
Now, this is absolutely the zaniest beat 'em up game,
I have ever played on my Commodore 64 😹!!
Absolutely comic and brilliant 😹😺👍🕹️!
What a zany game, right!?! Attacking Grannies and Gorillas... still fun though. A novel game that made me laugh as a kid 😇🕹👌
@@CheekyCommodoreGamer It's like taking some inspirations from the old LOONEY TUNES and HANNA-BARBERA cartoons 😹👍.
@@ArttuTheCat I was thinking of Benny Hill getting chased by all those grannies with umbrellas :)
Haha I should have added the Benny Hill theme music 😇🕹️👌
@@CheekyCommodoreGamer I absolutely love Benny Hill!

I actually think a game with that title would fetch a good price if anyone ever ran with a kickstarter event 🤣🕹👌
Nice game, first time seen it.
Certainly a uniquely obscure, fun, title... while it lasts - definitely worth playing though 😇🕹️👌

Hahaha yeah I can imagine thats probably 'exactly' how it went. Am sure a few intoxitants were involved too 😇🕹️👌
I love this game
Crazy fun game, easy to pick up and play 😇🕹👌
In my dimension......it was Hogan😂
Yeah you can definitely see some resemblance. Both mad as a box of frogs too 🤣🕹👌
Oh my god, that Amiga version looks awful 😂
Yeah it was pretty shocking but the music was definitely pretty decent 😇🕹👌

@@CheekyCommodoreGamer you know what... may be i will give it a '8'1
I alsways thought this bloke lived in a really rough area...
Hehe yeah and those Grannies could be pretty lethal wherever he lives 😇🕹️👌
Seeing hostility he faces he might have made it a really rough area. Or it's just a suburb of Metro City....
Man this is one where I actually prefer the graphics of the c64.
I have to agree with you there, 100%... a crazy game this, good fun while it lasts 😇🕹️👌
bonza stuff
Good fun this game haha 😇🕹👌
the nes was watered down version bad street brawlers
I never played the NES version, I definitely need to get the retro box fired up and give it a whirl though 😇🕹👌
