AMG C63 S has a stage 1 Eurocharged 93 tune.
BMW 340i has a catless downpipe, high pressure fuel pump, and a stage 2 MHD tune on E40 on an automatic transmission.
1st race was from 40 MPH
2nd race was from 50 MPH
3rd race was from 30 MPH

These 340i cars are pretty impressive with decent mods. Like a Supra with 4 doors! Good runs!
Decent mod? The only thing that's missing is upgrading the turbo on that 340i. The 340i is modded pretty much to it's abilities, without upgrading the turbo. Stop it with the "decent" mods talk, like it just have a tune and a filter. This 340i, has catless downpipes, high pressure fuel pump, a stage 2 MHD tune on e40 mix, against a c63s with just a stage 1 tune, which is just a basic tune for pump gas. Stop it with that Supra talk nonsense, it just had more power than the AMG and lighter. Smh
@@talkditingsdem5799 relax man. These are bolt ons to me. So, yes, decent mods. Your interpretation may be different, but anything short of opening the motor is pretty decent mods to me. I'm not trying to hate on either car, and there's no reason to get worked up about it. The B58 seems to be an engine that takes well too bolt ons, and last I read it was in the Supra as well, unless I'm wrong about that too. But like I said, coming from a place where opening up the engine, installing cams, porting heads, forged internals, adding boost to a NA car, etc etc, is considered more than decent mods, yeah, the 340i has JUST some pretty decent mods to me. But again, tech changes, and nowadays some cars only need a few decent mods to perform well. You are right though, the BMW is lighter and seems to have a better power to weight ratio. I'm not going to argue about something so trivial. You have your opinion, and that's cool. I'm just here enjoy the cars and the runs.
@@talkditingsdem5799 Down pipe 300$, HPFP is about 900$ and can be installed in about 40-50 min, tune is cheap about 300-400$ that’s all just a few basic bolt ons haha
@@mqbr22 Basic bolt ons, means what now a days? It's obvious the car game has change and now that any Joe Shmoe can get their hands on a car that can easily be modified to compete with cars that would be out of their league in stock form. It's not the fact that these cars perform well, it's the fact how people (fan boys) are bragging about modified cars beating lesser modified cars. It doesn't bother me when a car I don't even own loses but I just hate when people act like the car did some amazing feat, when the car just have more power.
So you can say "basic bolt ons" but what do that even mean now a days, when these cars pretty much are made to be easily modded, unlike cars from the past. So in my opinion, the 340i have a lot done to it compared to just a tune that the AMG has.
@@fgj8379 I'm not worked up, I just get sick of seeing the vague comments like "with decent mods". That can mean anything, it's decent in your opinion. A stage 1 tune and an Air box was considered "a decent mod" not too long ago. Now all of sudden when a car has bolt ons and e85 or port injection it's just considered "meh". That's the contradiction of the new car world we're living in. I guess I'm just old school.

a big diff. A catless downpipe alone would add around 30hp. Not to mention the turbo would spool faster and sooner.

Something is really wrong in this race.. C63 s with a tune is 600hp and that amg ain't pulling for nearly 600hp..stock 340i is 380hp and c63 s is 510hp..what am I missing?
I thought this was the regular, non M, 340i which is 320hp? Is this a M340i?
It's a stage 1 93 tune only. Nothing else done. I have a similar video on my channel with a 17 c63s stage 1 tune against an m340i e50 tune downpipe. The results were on point. If the c63s got downpipes and stage 2 93 tune it would be close.

No.... on e50 these b58s can make around 500 whp and 600 tq with downpipe only. So this was an ots e40 tune so it'll be a bit less
@@commantrosexetlos4700 well that would be a huge jump either way. The tuning capability of the BMW, as a M340i or even a regular 340i, seems pretty impressive to me. Not sure it would hit numbers that high either, but still impressive nonetheless in how it performs. Everybody knows C63 is no joke.

To me, my honest opinion, lol the AMG 43s and 53s tuned pulls harder than some of the 63s. Only great 63 I seen pull hard is the cls 63 AMG S and the GT 63 S. All in all, great Job BMW.

Reading these comments on these videos really made me realize that people don't know anything about cars, I mean absolutely nothing. A stage 1 is just a simple tune, why do people think a car with just a tune should beat a fully modified car. It being an AMG don't have nothing to do with it, a stock c63s comes with 510 horsepower, a 340 with catless downpipe, hfp for e50, a stage 2 tune of course will beat a c63s with just a tune. The c63s didn't do bad considering the power and weight difference. The AMG was just out powered, if people knew anything about cars they would know how much more modified the 340i is. It's like when people modify BMW 335i's, the platform is made for modding. People are dumb these days.

Ive had a stage 2 340i for years now and I really wanted to change to the C63S, I just love the sound of it's V8 but when I see it get smoked like this by a stock turbo B58 it just puts me off making the move :/ which sucks coz I really want the AMG but what's the point if my current car is probably as fast or faster? In a weird way I really wanted the AMG to win so I could justify the upgrade in my head 🤷🏻♂️

c63s coupe owner here, c63s is the ‘better’ overall car. and its still pretty quick for what it is. and its not no ‘race car’ lol. not everything is about speed. but thats my 1-2s on it.
Put those same mods, down pipe & E30 tune on the c63s and it’s a whole different story go check auto glory’s videos there’s one that is running a gt500

@@AutoGlory Probably even more than that. C63S with a good tune is low 500s. BMW is 10% lighter. To pull like that I'd say its in the 470-480 range. Gotta say though, I've never seen a tuned C63S hook a 40 roll like that. They normally smoke tires. Was the guy running with traction control on?
