Any U.S. Brand of rice is good quality. You don’t even have to rinse it, arsenic level are very small. All this info is at the U.S. rice federation website.
Overall diet and it's simplicity makes sense especially for these athletes. I used to do something similar (except less meals and calories) but ate potatoes more than rice. Potatoes are awesome and nutritious (lots of magnesium too) and I would rank it as the best carb source for those that do not need 4000 calories in carbs (Rice makes more sense in this case). Also agree with his thoughts on vegetable oils which has to be up there with one of the worst widely consumed "foods" out there.

Plan ahead, be prepared and make sure you make the time to eat all of it -consistently-. That last word is what usually makes or brakes the whole process. Some people do a variation because of diabetes. Honestly, everybody has a different body, so you should test and experiment thoroughly to see what works for you
I like it, I've lost 55 lbs in 6 months. Went from 330 to 270s. I eat natural foods, not a lot of carbs , except what's in veggies. I eat no bread, fried foods, pasta, candy , sugar. I'm still trying to figure how much of my macros to eat and what kinds , and trying to intermittent fast as well.

Magnesium in green vegetables is mostly inhibited by oxalates, best way to balance magnesium is to reduce sodium and potassium

If they reduce sodium their performance suffers. With how they're eating they need to supplement.
thats why u cook your greens to reduce oxalates and increase the bioavailability of vitamins and lutein etc

I don’t agree with Stan on red meat. For strength red meat in great but for gut health red meat is a no go. Wild salmon being one of the best.
