Great video! I’m coming back here again after recently relocated to a new town where we are more limited to higher fat steaks. It’s very true that having switched to more rib-eye has caused me to not cut weight as easily. Vertical diet is the way to go. I agree fellas, it’s also about how you feel on the diet. And how you feel affects everything.
@@kid319009 thanks. Sometimes even though you have been dieting a while, the fundamentals get lost in the shuffle. I switched to a more top round and this should reduce my calories from fat pretty well.

Stan organic is the food or farming methods) produced or involving production without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial agents. "organic farming" And if I eat those chemical I have a bad reaction in my stomach ive tested it
There are other factors to consider besides nutrient content with organic foods. Reducing environmental chemical load for one and thinking about the effect of glyophosphates on insects and soil. I don’t want that crap on my food. I would argue that it does matter.
It’s true the literature on nutrients in organic vs conventional is not convincing. The difference is just the amount of pesticides used in the cultivation process.
Well meta analysis looking into the nutrient content of conventional vs organic. If you don’t believe any evidence there’s no use in me linking it, right?
Stan! In a previous video you mentioned taking salt up to I believe 15g for some people, dependant on water intake and activity level among other things. You mentioned iodized salt as well being a good choice, but how about Himalayan salt? I ask because I use it and have been wondering about it, and Wenning asked at the end before it cut out. Thanks a bunch both of you for all the content!

You see these dudes in public and you may think they're just a couple of muscle heads, but in actuality they're extremely knowledgeable about diet and nutrition. The only criticism I'd give them is about dairy foods (such as yogurt) and calcium. The acids in cows milk eat away at your bones, and so you actually get a net loss of calcium by consuming dairy. Much better ways to get calcium, such as with fruits and vegetables. And even some types of fish.
@CurryNugger That entirely right because there has never been a 6'1" WSM competitor and no one thats ever won has ever been 6'1", especially not the person that has won it more times than anyone else, Mariusz Pudzianowski. Oh wait a sec...
unless it's brown rice, the husk/lectins in it are inflammatory. i dont see how white rice would be inflammatory, though. there's no sugar, which is what is inflammatory
It’s nice to hear a contrasting opinion once in a while. I agree with Stan that vegetable oils are detrimental and with his stance on caffeine. Rice is also the most calorie dens grain and the amino acids are absorbed significantly faster than in most other grains. Oats are also great but they are higher in protein and fat. I just wonder why he recommends eggs because they pose a risk for salmonella even when hard boiled. I know these strongman need over 8 or even 9000kcal but the amount of saturated fats and cholesterol is just rediculous on the arteries. I hope at one point both athletes can transition away to other protein and fat sources.
Wenning Strength didn’t you also lose weight? At least you were talking about losing weight in the vlog with Thor. From what I’ve seen a heart attack proof serum ldl level is 50-70ml/dl. But good to hear you had positive changes!
Jason blahas favorite bodybuilder I think because of subsidies eggs are cheap in a lot of Western countries and they are genuinely a bro-food in the bodybuilding community.
